I plan to write an update about it in the next few days!

    2. ryan gravell on May 12, 2012

Any news? Hows the full time, indie game developer working out?

    3. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on March 12, 2012

You are absolutely right. Sorry for the radio silence. We've been sitting on 3 different updates that are all waiting for the final piece to fall so we can post them. Luckily I got one of those pieces over the weekend so expect an update tonight.

    4. Charlie Poulin on March 8, 2012

Not to bug you guys, but could we get some updates? Nothing too big, I'd just like to hear about where you are and what kinds of successes or problems are cropping up. Best of Luck!

    5. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on February 17, 2012

I've been saying "spring" for the game. maybe late April... But things are subject to change since this is our first product.

Also we are currently waiting on money to be in a place where we can spend it. I would like to send the shirts out by the end of the month.

    6. Satheian on February 16, 2012

Any ECD for when the game might be release?
      And tshirts mailed? :)

Man, never realised how difficult it would be to think of what to put on the tombstone. Went with something a little dark and hopefully a little funny in the end. Can't wait for the game to come out!

    8. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 24, 2012

It's just what you type. If you type "poop" you will only see the word "poop" in the middle of the tombstone.

    9. Joshua James on January 24, 2012

Can you help at all with the logistics of the tombstone quote? Is it 100% of what is shown or is the name, an intro, or date already included?

    10. Jean-Francois Bouchard on January 24, 2012

I'm having trouble figuring out what to write for the tombstone.
What will they be used for exactly?
I've never played Oregon Trail so I can't really try to link them to something I'd remember from it.

    11. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 22, 2012

Thank you for the support my good man!

    12. Richard J Afton on January 21, 2012

Chicago is your HQ location. That terrific. I was born in Chicago a long time ago but I still visit. I now live in Chattanooga, TN. This is the first time I have helped fund the development of a game. The game looks great. I shall wait eagerly until it is available. Thanks for the opportunity to help, to be slightly involved, and have some fun at the same time.

    13. Terence Bowlby on January 21, 2012

      Sounds good. Thanks!

    14. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 21, 2012

There is no solid year. It's sorta "now" but we won't say exactly (It's mysterious/undecided.) You could always put 20?? or 201?

    15. Terence Bowlby on January 21, 2012

What year is it in the game? 2012? I'd like to know, for putting it on my tombstone.

    16. Stormy on January 19, 2012

      Congrats! :D :D :D

    17. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 19, 2012

Yay! Thank you everyone. Man... I sure say that a lot.

    18. Albino Dragon on January 19, 2012

I waited until the last minute, but how could I say no? Great project guys!

    19. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 18, 2012

      That's awesome! Thank you!

    20. Marc Eder on January 18, 2012

I just made the pledge that put you guys over $15,000! Can't wait for this game on the iPhone and iPad! Tried your game out for the first time a few weeks ago on your site. You guys are awesome!

    21. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 17, 2012

Hmmm... maybe if everybody only gets 4 letters we can fit it all. Hah! (just kidding don't reduce your donation amounts!!!)

    22. Vernon Burt on January 17, 2012

The tombstone database for this game is gonna be huge :) Congrats guys!

    23. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 17, 2012

You get to pick one. Don't worry, the rest will be available. It's all digital so "pre-order" doesn't mean too much.

    24. Mikkel Krongaard Eskildsen on January 17, 2012

When you donate $20 or more do you have to choose between Iphone, Android, PC or Mac?
I would be happy if i there was a option to get both a mobile version and a computer version.
I will go with the Android and PC version and if its on Steam it would be the best!
      Love the website version.

    25. Joséantonio W. Danner on January 15, 2012

Congrats to The Men Who Owe Many Tombstones!

    26. Richie Donahou on January 14, 2012

I just wanted to say this is quite rad, and I of course have to as for a WP7 version as well.

    27. Ryan K on January 14, 2012

Well if you ever consider adding gamepad support in future here is a tutorial to do so: and thanks for the android port! :)

    28. Cristina on January 14, 2012

The original Oregon Trail blended fun and randomness in a way it was impossible to dislike. I hope Organ Trail follows the same path :)

I like the fact that this project actually got the necessary funding. I know how hard it is.

    29. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 13, 2012

I sure hope we can make the iOS version universal. I just don't know what exactly that entails yet. So we can't promise it but I want it.

And as far as gamepad support, Since we don't have an xperia to develop on, I'm not sure if we will be able to deliver that properly. We are redesigning the controls to play with with a touch only interface so hopefully that will be satisfactory.

    30. Ryan K on January 13, 2012

Could we please have xperia Play gamepad support in the android release?

Any chance the iOS app will be universal (iPhone and iPad)?

    32. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on January 6, 2012

For 15k we will make a game about swimming in money. (just kidding (or am I?))

    33. Satheian on January 6, 2012

Looks like you'll be needing a $10 or $15k goal now..

    34. Tom Ricket on January 6, 2012

Excellent work, guys. I'm in the same industry ("Inert Soap" -- go check us out!) and know how it can be a total blast to create stuff, but doesn't always pay the bills. So have a bit o' cash from me, and I can't wait for the Director's Cut! :) --Tom

Considering I just pledged a copy of the game using Amazon Payments, can you check and make sure that this game will be Kindle Fire compatible?

      Awesomeness, btw.

    36. Ron Bassilian and Jim Wheelock on January 4, 2012

If your soundtrack is half as good as the music on your KS video, you will have sold me on that alone. :)

    37. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on December 31, 2011

The android options will just be added to the rewards that already have the preorder option. So no worries. If we cut it close I'll probably just slip it in anyways.

    38. S. Thomson on December 31, 2011

      This sounds awesome!
I pledged because I wanna get to $5000 so it'll be on Android!! We just change our pledges later when that reward is added, right?

    40. Shawn Michael Recinto on December 27, 2011

      Hey guys,
Can I ask that one of the random encounters be a Box O Zombies :)

    41. Shawn Michael Recinto on December 22, 2011

Very neat project guys, As promised, I have donated :)

    42. The Men Who Wear Many Hats Creator on December 22, 2011

It took me a few hours to figure out what WP7 meant. Haha, I guess we could look into it. But better give us 5k more just in case.

    43. Jay Margalus on December 21, 2011

You come across an awesome Kickstarter project. Do you: 1. give it money, 2. give it money and tell everyone you know about it!!! I went with 2.

    44. Joey Manso on December 21, 2011

How much money do you need for the WP7 port?

    45. Philip Tibitoski on December 20, 2011

      Gimme dem trails yo.
