UPDATE: Due to popular demand and the fact that it's pretty easy for us to do, the game will also be available on PC, Mac & Linux. Fun fact: the cross platform multi-player works between mobile and these platforms.
UPDATE: The bonus game is revealed!
UPDATE: Back at $10 or more for the first 3 DLC packs free on Steam. More details here.
Max Gentlemen is an arcade-style game where you stack hats as high as you can to attain the world's most gentlemanly score. Max Gentlemen features several modes, levels, gentlemen and hats. Play more to collect more hats! Everyone loves hats.
Max Gentlemen will feature cross-platform multiplayer. Challenge your friends to a hat stacking duel and decide once and for all who is the most refined gentlemen or lady amongst your social circles.
Max Gentlemen is going to be a free game for iOS, Android and Ouya. Update: PC, Mac & Linux too! We plan to make our money from selling extra content down the line, but everyone can play the full game for free. No time trial or pay-wall bullshit.
Max Gentlemen is a world where Victorian era gentlemen are mixed with the over-the-top, pile-drive-your-mom aesthetics of professional wrestling.
In Max Gentlemen, when you drink a beer, a hat will fly upon your head, because you deserve it (for being so manly.)
Max Gentlemen started as an afterthought to a spam email we got for penis pills entitled, "Max Gentlemen." We never read that email; instead we dreamt up the world of Max Gentlemen.
We had grand plans for the world but we never had the time. Then along came a Game Jam to make a drinking-themed game in one month for an arcade cabinet. We took one of the various mini-game ideas and made that. The resulting game was met with much praise.
We brought the game to PAX East on a tiny arcade cabinet and once again, to our surprise, people loved it. They wanted to buy it. We decided we needed to give it our full attention. So here we are.

Almost 2 years ago, you helped us raise 500% of our goal to make Organ Trail: Director's Cut. We have since taken that game well beyond the original promise, releasing on 6 platforms and adding an expansion (with more surprises to come.) We turn to Kickstarter once more in hopes that our fans will continue to support us.
We don't exactly need $500 to make the game. We're going to finish it regardless of the amount we raise. But the support we receive will help us determine how much you like Max Gentlemen. As well, this gives you a chance to get involved in the process and get some cool swag while you're at it.
Potential spending of money we raise:
Max Gentlemen will probably end up costing us $30k-40k in time and resources, but we don't feel right asking for that much. Max Gentlemen is a labor of love and we don't care if we don't make a dime off of it.
In regards to Stretch Goals: If we manage to raise even $10,000 that will mean we are doing something right and that you too, like Max Gentlemen. There are a lot of bits of improvement, expansion and polish that could be applied to this game and we promise that all money raised will go to the betterment of the final product and the team developing the game. (I really want to make a "make your own gentlemen" feature.)
Risks and challenges
If we go well beyond our initial goal, we can afford to spend more time on the game and make Max Gentlemen even better. That, of course, will add to the time before launch. So bear with us on delivery times. We will absolutely keep everyone up to date through our updates.
We have no idea how many orders we will get for each product, and that drastically changes fulfillment time and cost on our end. To ensure we do the best we can on getting you your swag, we've partnered with Level Up Studios to lighten the load.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
