About this project

Shit For Brains was borne out of a love for bar trivia and a hate for boring facts. Frustrated with questions about Presidents (but not about naked Presidents), and rivers (but not about rivers catching on fire), and animals (but not about weirdly-shaped animal penises), we decided to make a game for people like us. It's a game full of hilarious, morbid, irreverent, outrageous, disgusting, ironic, awesome, pathetic, twisted, and downright weird trivia. Each SFB box comes with 600 cards (6 categories with 100 cards each), a timer, die, and a whole lot of love and bad jokes.

The gameplay is incredibly simple- a team/player rolls the die, and then is asked a question from the corresponding deck. If they answer correctly, they keep the card and roll again. If they get it wrong, it's the next person/team's turn. First team to get one card in each category is the winner! Easy, right?

The starter set comes with the following categories:

•Bodily Functions
•Crime & Death
•Drugs, Man
•'Merica
•Nature Calls
•Sexy Time

If this project is successful, we hope to develop additional categories, so that players can customize their gaming experience. Imagine a world where you rip out all questions about America, and instead, replace them with all questions about Religion! Or Diarrhea. Or all questions about Religions that cause Diarrhea! Oh, could you imagine the possiblities? Well imagine no more– here's a list of the new categories that we're currently developing:

•God Help Us (Religion)
•Govern-Mental (World Politics)
•Look Up to Us (Celebrities)
•Shots For Brains (Drinking Facts & Challenges)

Risks and challenges

We've launched 3 successful Kickstarters in the past so we're 99% confident we can deliver on this project. There's not much that surprises us anymore. We've spent the past 2 years researching, writing questions, developing prototypes, and conducting test playing sessions– everything is ready! The manufacturer we're teaming up with makes Cards Against Humanity's games, so there's little risk of them not being able to handle our game. So unless the USPS, UPS or Fedex all go bankrupt, this project is as good as in your hands.

Because of the weight of the game, international postage is unfortunately quite expensive. We've researched postage costs from different companies, and are charging the lowest prices offered, but the cost may still be prohibitive for international customers. We are looking into distribution in select countries, which will hopefully bring the postage costs down in the future.
