I'm hoping to raise $2,000 to cover the cost of studio time, studio musicians, production of the album, and three low-key, take away music videos of songs featured on the album.
I'll be recording at Our Home Productions in Necedah, WI with three wonderful individuals, Ben Lisser (sound engineer), Sam Spotts (musical extraordinaire who will be accompanying me on various tracks), and Isabelle Spotts (OHP videographer and general business manager).
Along for the ride will also be a two wonderful gentlemen who I've grown to adore for their talent and musical insight:
Christian Lisser - drums
Christian began drumming as a kid along with his favorite cd's. He only started to take the art of drumming seriously when he joined band in middle school and high school. After that he performed in various bands called: We Are A Battleship, and Last Astronaut. He more recently can be found drumming for the percussive, gypsy-rock band, Hewn. And, on the side he also performs weekly with a group called Moonhouse.
Kent Watson - guitar
Kent, born in Erie, PA, grew up in Boise, Idaho, and went to college in Milwaukee but somehow ended up in Madison, Wisconsin. During his period in Milwaukee he formed two groups: At Latl and SUN ROCK MAN. During that time and to this day he collaborates with Eric Haven (Boise, ID). Together they have a long distance electronic music project called Property Of Kent and Eric (POKE). For more details visit his website dkentwatson.com

Please feel free to check out what I'm up to over the next few months! I'll be tweeting regularly about the project, snapping pics for Instagram, and uploading a few take away videos to my Youtube along the journey.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to check out my project. Luckily, my goal isn't to become an anchor woman - so with your help I know I'll be able to reach my goal! Much love to you all!
Risks and challenges
This project may encounter setbacks with time. No one for sure can say what the winter and spring weather in Wisconsin will do, so we may have bumps along the road when it comes to being able to travel to the studio. If this is the case, we will just have to postpone and reschedule.
Other than weather, or illness - I can't envision any serious setbacks occurring. And if these setbacks occur, there is always another day with clear skies.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
