Float Shelf Update
Great News! Production of small and large Float Shelves for newer, thin-edged iMacs is complete and the shelves have passed quality control inspections at the factory in China. In addition, I received Float Shelves from the production run today via DHL and they look very good and fit perfectly onto the iMacs we have in our office. Completing production and quality control without any significant problems is a huge milestone and a great relief! Now we can focus all our attention on getting the shelves delivered to our office and then mailed on to those of you who have newer, thin-edged iMacs.
Refunds! I had planned to send refunds by now but decided to hold off doing so in case I needed cash to solve any last minute problems that might arise in China. Now that manufacturing is complete, packaging approved, and the shelves have passed on-site and in-office quality control inspections, I can breathe a sigh of relief and begin the refund process for those with older, thick-edged iMacs or Apple displays who won’t be getting a Float Shelf. I apologize for the delay in issuing refunds, but I pinky swear I’ll be working on refunds all day tomorrow and over the weekend.
Packaging. The Float Shelf's packaging consists of a white inner box in which a shelf is suspended by foam inserts, plus a brown outer box to provide extra protection during mailing. I’m confident your Float Shelf will arrive in good condition.
Shipping. I’ve requested all Float Shelves be shipped ASAP by ocean freight to our offices in California. Once I know the carrier, ship, and destination port I’ll send along this information for those of you who like to track freighter transits and arrivals. As soon as we receive the shelves we’ll begin mailing them after one last quality control inspection.
