Mid-July Tour Update

Greetings, everyone.

Just a brief update on how things are going on the Tour de Lovecraft project...I'll have a more fullsome update in the next week to 10 days, including updating the progress spreadsheet, which I have been neglecting. On to bullet points!

  • Ken's work on the new Vampire game has (at least for now) wrapped up, and he's been working his new writing in for Tour de Lovecraft along with the annotations that he's been doing for new edition of The King in Yellow from our friends over at Arc Dream Publishing. If you're interested in the work of Robert W. Chambers in addition to H.P. Lovecraft, it's definitely worth checking out. (As a side note to that, Robin D. Laws' New Tales of the Yellow Sign, his collection of stories inspired by Chambers' work, is back in print! You can check it out in the AOP webstore, over at Amazon.com, or at book and hobby games stores.)
  • I've gotten the artist for the The Destinations book nailed down, and as soon as I get the artist for The Tales supplemental art and the luggage labels nailed down (which I hope will be in the next 7-10 days), I'll announce them all at once.
  • The tote bag looks like a go, and I'm just waiting for the manufacturing sample. I'll post pictures as soon as I get them.

Both Ken and I will be at Gen Con in Indianapolis from August 1 to 5. Studio 2 Publishing will be carrying Atomic Overmind Press publications, and I'll be hanging out with my other company, Green Ronin Publishing. If anyone wants to come by and say hi and talk Lovecraft, feel free! Ken's Gen Con schedule is a little more fluid with the release of Vampire (as well as his stunning Fall of Delta Green book from Pelgrane Press), but if you check out his social media (@KennethHite on Twitter), you can usually find where he's hanging his hat at the show. I know he'd love to meet any fans of his work that are present at the show.

Until next time, travellers!
