This new album is the answer to your requests.
More ethereal music, recordings of mantras, and much more of my vocals.

Thanks to generous support my last album, 'With You’, was successfully completed through crowdfunding and has been shared with the world.
On my new journey here I am again on Kickstarter one year later with an abundance of new material ready to be produced and pressed.
I have compiled a variety of exciting and diverse gifts as rewards for you and your loved ones to share. Focusing on the spirit of giving and building community for the coming end of year celebrations! These unique gift options include collaborations from local Australian businesses, Circular Breath, Haitch Music and Little Vessels. I hope you enjoy them!

Sharing
I love sharing music in many forms, and play with Fat Picnic on Mellophone and flutes, and with Desmond Cheese on trumpet, didge and flutes. It is fascinating to share with many genres of people the diversity of world instruments they may not have not seen previously. I especially enjoy combining a variety of these instruments in dynamic fusion through my personal project, Haitch Music. In this project I record, produce and layer all my own sounds. Concerts showcase a combination of my own pre-recorded sounds combined with live looping to create multilayered sounds, unique in every performance. I also enjoy sharing music and movement in 'Yoga Soundcapes' classes, holding passionate 'Chanting to Bliss’ concerts, and facilitating 'Soundwaves' sound healing journeys.

Journey
I am fortunate to have been accepted to perform at the world renowned Woodford Folk Festival again at the end of this year, located near the semi-rural town of Woodford, 72 km north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is one of the biggest annual cultural events of its type in Australia and I will be sharing music in three forms. On December 27th, 5:15pm join me for 'Sonic Alchemy' with a healing didge offering where participants can experience the vibration of this ancient instrument. December 29th, 7:30pm a jump and shake loose music session with 'Dance Healing Fusion', featuring Lou Van Stone and friends. And finally an evening of 'Blissful Chanting' and mantra kicking off a superstar line up at 7:30pm on Saturday, New Years Eve!
I've already had the privilege of playing and recording with some world class artists including Australia's top ambient music group Sacred Earth, Daphne Tse, Kate B, Mapstone, and am soon to play with Los Angeles-based musician Dave Stringer and others. I have also collaborated with Yoga teachers in Australia and abroad, including Nicole Walsh - Sydney, Julie Smerdon - Brisbane, Emmanuelle Brown - Gold Coast, Kaya Slater - Byron Spirit Fest, and USA yoga/dance super star Cristi Christensen in Kuala Lumpur and Bali.

Learning
During the past 12 months I have learned some new skills including website building, how to use Instagram, effective administration and even using spreadsheets! My childhood background in classical music training, sitting for Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) exams, involvement with the Redland Shire Band, Queensland Youth Orchestra and Brisbane Brass Band has taught me that with practice and dedication you can achieve more than you think. My mother helped me enormously with this, as by 6 years old, I was in all of the above. Even if your reward is a certificate of merit or an ice cream, the feeling of achievement is great!
This year I have focused on ways I can share music and change people's lives. I was accepted onto the Queensland Government New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) and received a grant to create my new business named Circular Breath. The concept came about after I realised that a friend's brother was struggling with a medical sleep condition effecting his quality of life. He has now overcome the problem and it inspired me to seek a pro-active solution to help others, backed by worldwide research, and at an affordable level. I now hand craft and assemble a range of telescopic style didgeridoos called 'Breath Strengthening Pipes' here in Brisbane, Australia. I also run workshops using these instruments, and enjoy sharing my passion for this unique Circular Breath technique used to create music and assist medically diagnosed sleep and breathing disorders. Problems
Music is my life, for which I am very grateful. Although everything has generally been positive, there has been a slight a downside too, as I have had to deal with bouts of depression caused by physical traumas from my previous work, and repercussions from a vehicle accident where a young man was checking in-coming texts whilst driving, and hit me. This misdemeanor resulted in several broken bones for me! Please heed my warning and DON’T TEXT AND DRIVE, IT CAN KILL! BETTER LATE THAN DEAD! Make 'flight mode' your friend. As a result I have had reconstructive surgery and on-going investigation into some physical pain I am still experiencing.
Grateful
During this time I have come to realise that ‘gratefulness' is one of the most powerful and transformative forces involving our feelings and emotions. I am so grateful to have music, it has always been present, surrounding and residing within me. It's been an epic journey from performing classical Bach, playing in a marching band, my involvement with jazz, world music and ambient music. On my East Coast of Australia tour this year, I shared a little of each of the above genres and as I always want feedback I asked everyone “Let me know your favorite track so I can include it in the next album”. That's how I know what you want to hear more of. Thank you all!

Harmonize
My last album 'With You' was a game changer for me. Collaborating with others is the best decision I have made about my music. It's helped me grow as a recording artist and producer, and working with Andy Downer at AD-STUDIO in Lismore, NSW, Australia has been awesome. The session musicians who feature on the albums are also my friends. They have similar musical interests and shared their talented additions during the recording sessions. It was so beautiful to hear the music unfold and I loved encouraging everyone who helped.

Reflections
'Ethereal' is a reflection of how I see devotion and its relationship with the cultures and societies of our planet and our music. I invite you to come with me and explore the interconnectedness of the beautiful instruments and sounds from both current and ancient cultures from around the world. My album includes the ancient vibrational language of Sanskrit, kundalini mantras in the Gurmukhī language, Native American Chants, and songs in English. It also includes verse spoken by spiritual teacher and author, Robyn Collins in the almost forgotten Aramaic language which was spoken at the time of Jesus Christ. Not all of the melodies are original, I will be sharing a couple of covers but mainly featuring my refreshing new Haitch Music sounds.

Thanks
Thank you for your interest. You are amazing, and without you I wouldn't have anyone to appreciate my music.

Risks and challenges
Time is an illusion. Risky business is an epic 80's film. With patience and persistence, this project will succeed. As my father always says, "Nothing succeeds like a parrot with no beak." And then he usually has to say it again slower, emphasizing the word succeeds into 'sucks-seeds' until someone gets the joke...
But seriously, there are a few challenges that lie ahead. The recording is not yet complete, it is currently around 60% finished. At the end of October I will visit AD-STUDIO to complete the recording and start the final mix-down. Unforeseen delays in the recording and mastering process could delay the deadline for CD pressing. The postal system around the end of the year also comes under heavy stress and can cause delays in delivery.
I will be working very diligently with my team to avoid these challenges and complete the project in a timely fashion.
