Hackaball October Update

Hello backers!

First off apologies for not communicating with you all sooner - it's been a busy few weeks getting everything in place, but I can confirm that the Hackaballs are in their warehouses, ready for despatch.

We’re currently doing tests on a small sample of the balls to ensure they are good for shipping. So far we’re very happy with the quality of hardware and firmware. As with all electronic products, there are a few in the batch that are faulty but the failure rate is within industry norms.

If all goes to plan we'll be shipping Hackaballs from our UK warehouse next week, and from the US warehouse the week after that. If for any reason you do have a problem with your Hackaball, you'll be able to get in touch with support@hackaball.com for help, and we'll get you sorted out.

Have you started shipping yet? It has been 2 weeks since the last update and nothing. I live in the US on the west coast and if you were shipping us orders last week (2 weeks from 10/27) I should have a track number or something. I am getting concerned.

So they will have been sitting in the US warehouse a month before they will be shipped. Not sure I understand? What am I missing?

Hey. Is there a way that we can change the delivery address? We are in the process of moving and I'm worried the delay will cause the delivery to go to the wrong home. Thanks.

I agree Bernard. Also where are they being shipped for Australia? Not the US I hope.

Well, I am quite used to wait for a long time for Kickstarter products to be delivered because they are small teams, designing innovative products etc...
However I cannot understand why with this product delivery and shipping takes that much time.
We've seen numerous updates about 'they are out of the factory', they are in the road to the warehouses, they are organizing them in the warehouses, now they ARE IN the warehouse for UK, and yes they are also IN the warehouse for US customers, they are close to the door of the warehouse, but not yet out of the door..... the truck is approaching the door of the warehouse...'
Give us a break, close your keyboard and deliver these products!
Also we've received so many updates of the app, but we cannot do anything with it unless we have a product to connect to it.
