Final Hours, Relaunch Update
I'm beginning to wish I didn't take 6 classes this semester *whew busy week!
Well, I must say, it was a good first attempt, and an even greater learning experience for me personally.
The prototype clips came in a while back and like I promised, I had them posted on the current project site. But here's a better picture.
It also happens to be a sneak peak for the relaunch. I've already gotten it approved by Kickstarter so within 12 hours of the current project ending I will relaunch Airfoil once again, this time with a 5K goal and a 14 day funding period. I've also included the major changes such as including clips, changing the engraving, different colored center columns, etc. And it should be much simpler.
None of the changes however would have happened without your involvement and really helpful feedback. I want to thank everyone that has helped me with this project including all the pen reviewers, the Midweek for featuring my project, my parents for putting up with my obsession with this for the past several months, the several machinists that gave me extremely good advice, and you backers, for the encouragement and constructive feedback. As I mentioned, this has been an extremely valuable learning experience to me, and even though this current project won't succeed, that's ok, the knowledge that I take away is way more valuable than the amount of funding this project could have raised. Airfoil wasn't quite ready, it was cool, but I realize it needed more work, and I thank everyone for guiding me along that journey.
