What a weekend! $185k! Let's have some Unity!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone got to play plenty of games this weekend. We sure did! Still editing all the gameplay footage. For now, it's time for more of:

Devra Caspit has been thrilled to work alongside the Freedom Five as the hero Unity for many years now. After her internship with Dr. Meredith Stinson ended, Devra stayed on to both work in Tachyon's lab and fight villains with the rest of the heroes. So, when the Freedom Five went private, Unity was the first "employee" they hired to work in Freedom Tower.

In battle, Unity's technopathic abilities make her a force to be reckoned with - practically an army! She creates and controls multiple mechanical golems, each fighting with the abilities she imparts upon them. She has the ability to make pretty much anything she wants, but she tends to create robotic doubles of members of the Freedom Five, as well as a robotic dinosaur named Mr. Chomps, of whom she is particularly fond.

Devra added an "I" to the Freedom Five insignia on her belt, telling her teammates that it stood for "Intern", but the team knew she was pushing towards being a full-fledged member of the team. And that eventuality seems more and more likely each day.

And, of course, this adds Unity's miniature to the Uprising miniature set, as well as her painted miniature to the Super Heroics in Full Color pledge level!

That's a fine miniature, but it is incomplete... for it has no Mister Chomps.

So remember when we were excited about Unity?

      Good times...

Oh please let there be golems. Unity is probably one of my favorite Characters.. and besides WE NEED MR CHOMPS!

@Jason Rodney, the $200K update will presumably have all the golems. It would be a little weird for one of them to be on this model.

Yay Unity! We get to keep fighting crime together :)

Like miniature, but see should have a golem or her in a pose creating one. Just like in the art work above where she is creating golem of Legacy. That should be the sculpt. Thanks for the update.

Personally, I would love to see the old bots as the next stretch goal for that kind of "retro" feeling. While the team may be sporting new costumes, I would think she would like to keep her old golems to see where they came from.

I'm not sure I like the pinkness, but... yea, she would totally wear that.

I still like her old costume better ;)

She looks like she should have a camel toe. You should give her a camel toe.

@Dylan I really did not know why they were "FV" until you just posted the VI. I feel dumb lol, but thanks for sheading light on the new Freedom Five logo lol.

@Brian: I think there's no doubt they are her bots, especially since one of the shadows is unmistakably Mr Chomps.

I'm glad she didn't turn into Golem Unity. Now I, curious how the bot minis look since I imagine they'll be variants on the F5 except for Mr Chomps

Sneaking, turning the "V" into a "VI"!

forever an "intern" never a "five"

Nice, I see she actually has a uniform now. Looks good. Better than a tank top and jeans.
So, odds are the 200k goal will be minis for her golems. Awesome!
