It Belongs in a Museum!

Greetings Lovecraft lovers!

As promised, today we are taking a closer look at the ancient Artifacts in the game. Cults can gain Artifacts by visiting the Museum Location on the Fate Clock.

By taking the basic action at the Museum, Cults can take one of the face up Artifacts, or leave it up to fate, by taking the top Artifact from the Artifact deck. If a Cult controls the Museum, they may clear the Artifact display before choosing, thereby revealing two new Artifacts from the deck.

As a secondary control action, Cults may also Destroy one Artifact in their possession and Sacrifice up to three Cultists to remove that many Elder Signs from their Summon Track. The Artifacts are very useful to Cults in their quest to awaken their gods, but sometimes they must sacrifice that advantage to thwart the pesky powers of good!

In the next update we’ll take a look at Curses - a fan favorite! Until then, keep spreading the news of our cult far and wide so we can fund and work toward those monstrous stretch goals!

The Necronomicon can be such a great artifact to combo with the right Elder God!
