About

THE GAME OBJECTIVE:

The battle for the title of Best Troll is on! Don’t worry, you don’t have to go on the Internets – from now on all problems can be solved in a courteous and respectful manner… sort of... not really. Pick up our game, read through the rules and play with friends in a fair head-to-head conflict! Believe me, it is much more interesting than inventing devious schemes, and complex wordplay in online threads with strangers.

The goal of the game is to get rid of all the cards in your hand. The first player to do so will provoke the wrath and fury of his comrades, and as many points as there are cards left in the hands of other players. The game continues until a player scores a thousand points – the sum of all games played… or until the Martian Invasion, the subway closure, all the opponents’ nerve cells death, or the Apocalypse. So, it is recommended to negotiate beforehand!

Example of Original Content:

GAME

At the beginning of the game each player is dealt 8 cards. The Deck with the remaining cards is placed in the middle of the table, face down. The Dealer (preferably the best troll of the lot) turns over the top card of the deck and places it face up next to the deck, thus creating the Game Stack. There are special rules in the game, the main one being "Screw with the other players, lol." Players take turns, during each turn each player places one game card on top of the stack. The placed card must match the previous one either by color, or by its numeric value (indicated on the face of the card.) So, if the top card is "seven green", the next player can place either a green or a seven on top. If a player has no cards suitable for the turn, he takes a card from the deck and if it fits, he can immediately play it. If the card taken is not suitable for the turn, the player must keep it, without showing to the opponents and pass the turn to the next player.

 “Rage!” Rule

Immediately before playing his last card, the player must give the surrounding guys a disdainful look and say "Rage!". If he fails to do so, any one of the opponents can "catch" him holding only one card in hand and make him take three additional cards as a penalty.

“Problem?” Rule

There are at least two copies of each cards in the deck. If someone had just played a card that happens to be in your hand at the moment, you can take the initiative and, without waiting for your turn, put this card in the stack. It is recommended to emphasize the drama of the moment by looking at your rivals and uttering a barely audible whisper: “Problem!?” The turn will be passed to the next player in line. And this is only one example of the various trolling tools we have in mind, since the essence of our project is based solely on the “Screw with the other players, lol!” principle, which we believe in with all our hearts. Join your friends and troll each other for teh great Justice!

SOME SPECIAL TROLL CARDS:

“I See What You Did There” - after this card is played, the next player must take 3 cards from the deck and pass his turn. The other players are to chuckle loudly and point a finger at him.

“Sure, Baby” - this card switches the game direction to counterclockwise. If another “Sure, Baby” card is played, then the game goes back to clockwise, etc.

“Okay Guys” - Next player in the sequence loses his turn.

“LOL Action” - with this, the player declares the next color to be matched (or leaves it as it is).

“Must Resist…”.This card is the best gift for those who are tired of constant noise from their mates. If this card is played, a whole circle should be played in complete silence. Any rule-breaker removes the ban, but draws two cards.

“Forever Alone” - if anyone plays the “Forever Alone” card, all other players must immediately put a hand on a deck. The player whose hand is on top (last) takes two cards from the deck. It’s necessary to call that wretch “Slowpoke”, otherwise is there any reason to even bother?

The game also contains countermeasures cards:

·Transfer the effect of any special card on any player of your choice

·Double and transfer card effects on the player with the lowest card count

·Nullify the effect of any special card of your choice

... And many others.

WHERE WILL THE MONEY GO?

This is the basic breakdown of our budget. As we reach our stretch goals things might shift around a little, but this will remain as the budgeting framework of this project.

Risks and challenges

With any production project there are many known and unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, ready to jump out and surprise everyone. However, going into a project with your eyes open wide, and addressing as many issues as you can anticipate beforehand helps a lot.
I have priced out several sizes of production runs, calculated storage, shipment, and fulfillment costs. I've diversified my estimates from production houses both domestic and foreign, as well as researching import tax, product testing, and many other small variables that I know can come as an unwanted hurdle late in the game for many indie game producers.
More specific to the Kickstarter genre of troubles is the ever looming threat of becoming overwhelmed with too many backers, unforeseen shipping costs, losses from damaged goods, and potentially having some pledges bounce. I have calculated all of these into my financial crumple-zone, and I know my limits, both with time, and money and in order to keep good faith with my backers, and I committed to keeping this project within my capability to fulfill the rewards and all other commitments.
Finally, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to look over my Kickstarter. Please back my project, and help me make this awesome game! Even if you can't back my Kickstarter with money right now, if you can help to spread the word by sharing this page with your friends and family I will be deeply grateful. Thank you all so much.
