Video I took hanging out with VOI

Yesterday I hung out with the Voices of Inspiration and they busted out with a song on the spot, and I took a video of it. Next time I'll be singing WITH them!!! This concert is going to be so hot. One month from tomorrow!!!!

what's going on 6/22/12

1) Artwork to the printshop for poster graphics
2) T-shirt vendor/sponsor secured
3) Opening act secured and soon to be announced (exciting!)
4) First practice with full band next week
5) Faithfully coaching and practicing with John Garner III
6) Making sure every note that I sing is full of soul and heart 
7) Planning a walk-through with BAM in the next week or so

oh, and last but not least:
8) Lodging secured for my folks who are coming from San Francisco! New York will never be the same!

Oscar is a Brooklyn multi-instrumentalist (guitar, keyboards, bass, vocals) who has many of his own projects in addition to freelancing with others. He also has an extensive private teaching practice that includes students from Columbia Grammar Prep and St. Bernard's. His current credits include:

Paul Amorese, DRUMS

Paul Amorese -Paul Amorese is a professional touring, recording and live drummer based in Brooklyn, NY.  Currently performing with groups such as Only Son, Bryan Scary, Goodbyemotel, Matt and Alyssa (Tinted Image) and Bacci, Paul has also had the privilege of opening for artists such as Regina Spektor, John Mayer, Wyclef Jean, Nicole Atkins, Jonny Lang, Reggie Watts and Fishbone.  Producers and engineers include Kevin Killen (U2, Peter Gabriel), Bryce Goggin (Phish, Spacehog) and Jamie Seigel (Lauren Hill, Taking Back Sunday).

Dave plays keyboards for Robbers on High Street (2007-present) and Only Son (2008-present).  He has also performed or recorded with Favourite Sons, Grand Mal, The Silent League, Norah Jones, Regina Spektor, Donald Fagen, Boz Scaggs and Guy Berryman.  He has released three albums as a singer/songwriter under the alias band name, Goodbye Girl Friday.
