What This Project Is
If you scroll down a little bit on my web page http://gregstolze.com/fiction-library/, you can find links to a lot of stories. Those were paid for by fans in crowdfunding schemes like this one. If I reach my goal, I put up the story and anyone with a computer can read it. Moreover, it's under a Creative Commons license, so even people without computers can read it if someone else provides noncommercial distribution.
If you've backed any of my short stories before, you know how this works. (As an aside -- hey, welcome back!)
What The Story Is
Here's the hard part about pitching a story that is (I freely admit) quite brief. How do I tell you about it without giving the whole weird thing away? It's a little like my story ENZYMES, where the administration of the cosmos is revealed to be confusing and inelegant. It's somewhat like A Series of One Sided Conversations and Careful, She Bites in that it's most one character speaking, with the reader filling in the distressing blanks. It even implies some slight science-fiction elements, like TRANSMIT and NECROCHROME. Honestly, you're probably better off just looking over all or some of those stories. If you like them, you'll probably PATIENCE as well.
P.S. Oh, and if you're wondering what the patch from the reward tier looks like:
Risks and challenges
There are almost no risks. It's a five page story. It's done. I have a web page through which to release it. There are no primary tangible objects to process or ship. The bonus patches are already made and in hand, as you can see from the pitch video.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
