Audio book stretch goal!

Dear wonderful Kickstarter Secrets backers!

We're two weeks into the campaign and you've unlocked FOUR big stretch goals that will allow me to interview five incredible Kickstarter creators for the book -- Amy Chu, Drew Westphal, Jimmy Palmiotti, Hope Nicholson, and C. Spike Trotman! Thank you, thank you, and thank you!

Now I'm thrilled to announce the fifth stretch goal. If we hit $8000, I'll record an audio version of Kickstarter Secrets and distribute it for free to all backers! That's right, if all goes well, you'll be able to listen to an audio book of crowdfunding tips while driving to work or working out or playing Minecraft, because that's how we roll!

(Big thanks to Tyler James, who gave me the idea for the audio book stretch goal while interviewing me for his ComixLaunch crowdfunding podcast last week. And there's a Kickstarter secret for you in practice: take every opportunity to pick the brains of other creators! There's always another great idea out there that can help your campaign.)

Once again, huge thanks to all of you for backing the book and spreading the word. I'm hugely excited in particular about the prospect of interviewing Amy, Drew, Jimmy, Hope and Spike. They've all done tremendous things with Kickstarter and I can't wait to learn from them and share it all with you.

So thanks so much and please do keep spreading the word! And if you'd like to help us hit that stretch goal by bumping up your reward to add one of the signed physical books or something else, please feel free! That handy link once again:

All the very best!

Audiobooks are becoming a basic authors should be considering as more and more people listen while doing other things. Many also like being able to switch back and forth between audio and ebook.

Big reader and Kickstarter backer here. LOL
