You guys that's awesome!! Will all the custom stuff shipped with our sets then?

I will be sending happy thoughts and good karma to the dockworkers so they don't strike again.

    6. Daniel Henson on January 3, 2013

Woah! Awesome news on the upgrade. You guys rock. Here's hoping there's no strike.

Oh, I do have a question, though. What does the upgrade to Zmergency mean for those of us that purchased an extra set of "K-mini, tiles only?" IIRC, the original reason to do so was to be able to play both sides/scenarios simultaneously. Is this still the case?

    8. Peter Jacob on January 3, 2013

Sweeeeeet. Can't wait to round up my friends and drag them through a new zombie apocalypse.

I didn't think of this specific product, but heard the news reports on NPR and wondered if any of the inbound KS projects I've invested in would be affected. Glad to hear that so far you haven't been. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Awesome, thanks for the upgrade to the upgrade that was originally upgraded many times. Oh, the dreaded Customs at the port. I remember years ago, I had ordered a limited edition statue from my favorite comic shop and the boat with the container that held my figure set off some Customs alarm and it all the stuff waiting to head to the distributor sat in Customs for nearly 18 months. Here's hoping that doesn't happen.

Great news about the "expanded" expansion. I certainly appreciate the extra effort. I'm sure the game will be worth the wait; just hoping the labor issue doesn't add further delay and storage expense. It worked out on the east coast (Baltimore, if I recall) so they'll probably come to an agreement on the west coast as well.

Awesome news about the expansion! And not to sound inconsiderate to all the work you've been doing... but when can we expect a new print and play? :) Just wondering...

This is awesome news! Thanks for the update and all the hard work put into the project.

@Daniel Henson said "Oh, I do have a question, though. What does the upgrade to Zmergency mean for those of us that purchased an extra set of "K-mini, tiles only?" IIRC, the original reason to do so was to be able to play both sides/scenarios simultaneously. Is this still the case?"

What's shown above is what everyone above $55 pledge level will receive for backing us. For those of you who requested additional k-mini tiles, you'll get an additional set of 12 zmergency tiles on top of the ones that zmergency comes with. I know I personally ordered 2 sets myself, with an adapter set, as I envision using these tiles for a Tabletop homebrew d20 game, where the survivors go from the fema camp, into the hospital to find the helicopter to take them to new locations unknown at this time.

    20. Daniel Henson on January 20, 2013

@Techno Shaman. Right, but I guess what I'm saying is that we paid extra to get to play both sides do Zmergency at the same time. If the upgrade means you can already do that without a spare set of tiles, or that the Zmergency tiles aren't double-sided now, I at least would rather adjust my purchase to get something that isn't redundant. If the upgrade means something else, and a spare tile set with adapters would still be necessary to play both sides, then awesome and no change needed. If this were something included in the pledge I wouldn't even be asking, but this is a matter of having spent more outside and in addition to a pledge. If that extra purchase is now redundant, I'd rather throw money at you guys for something else. :-)

@Daniel: You are correct about the Zmergency expansion. In order to play both the Fema camp (Side A) and the hospital (Side B). You would need 2 sets of the tiles and 1 adapter. Which you have ordered.
