About this project

Hands of Hope Documentary - The St. Boniface Haiti Foundation, a non-profit organization that enables surgeons from Jacksonville Florida make the long trek to Fond-des-Blancs, strives to improve life for the poor of Haiti by facilitating access to quality, affordable health care, educational opportunities and community development programs. Please visit their site for more information.

This documentary will chronicle a group of surgeons from Jacksonville as they travel to Fond-des-Blancs, a small village in southern Haiti to lend their hands to improving and saving lives of young children.

The purposed of this funding is provide videography and still photography to be used in this documentary and future marketing materials. We'll be staying on-site in their cabin accommodations to lower the cost/budget for this film. The donations made for this project will go directly to the costs of the flights and additional audio/visual equipment and much needed lighting for indoors shooting of the hospital and operating rooms.

Note on the donations - this is the minimual amount needed for this project, anything above this will greatly enhance the quality, the final product, and of course the people in Haiti.

These dedicated doctor's give up months out of the year to travel several times to Haiti to provide much needed services to - not just young children, but adults and every age in between to give them all  a chance of leading a healthier life, by providing medicine, exams and surgery.
