Hi Kickstarters,

We’re excited to release a new PC Driver for the Z!

For this release we spent a lot of time under the hood making the Z Driver and Firmware rock solid with improved performance.

We’ve also included some nice new features, including the ability to import and export individual profiles. For more details on of what’s in this release, please see here:

https://www.swiftpoint.com/changelog-swiftpoint-z-drivers/

The driver will prompt you to upgrade automatically within 24 hours, but for those that are keen you can always upgrade immediately by clicking the three-bar button (top left), and selecting “check for updates”.

We’re busy working on the next update… watch this space :)

Thanks again to all, for the support.

Good update, though not very much changes for such a long time.
The changes to export/import and handling of profiles is great, though I wish we could move them around as well. This is important to those of us who use many sub-profiles regularly and want them in a specific order.

Just tried updating my mouse. I'm very happy on the user friendly side of the software. So that was very simple :).

However i encountered Error 6 when i tried updating my mouse. It was completely unresponsive after that. I managed to fix this by rebooting my computer. After the reboot the software started again and completed the update. My mouse is now fully operational, but i felt i should let you know!

      Hi Backers,

A quick update on the latest release…

So far, out of the thousands of Z’s that have upgraded without an issue, we’ve had 7 reports of the firmware upgrade not succeeding. We’ve confirmed we can fix these, and will have that rolled out in the next 48 hours. We’ve also been able to identify what caused the issue, so can prevent it happening in the future.

As this issue is very rare / infrequent we can’t reproduce it here at Swiftpoint with our beta testers, so really appreciate the help from the 7 users, who have provided log files etc to unravel the cause.

On another note, we’ve had a number of requests about the new features that we are working, so we put together a summary list over on the FAQ, here: https://www.swiftpoint.com/technical-qa-faq-swiftpoint-z/

As always, please send us an email support@swiftpoint.com if you have any issues or queries.

      Thanks again for the support.

**WARNING** Firmware update 1.2.32 bricked my (previously working) mouse. I recommend not to try this update if your mouse is currently working.

My mouse is working great! But its a little disappointing with Mac drivers. Tried BTT but it wasn't for me and was hoping some good news will come along soon. I guess its later rather than sooner.

Great to see a firmware update! Unfortunately, mine is still sitting in the box because the current mac workaround 'driver' with BTT just doesn't work for me. Would love to hear how the native mac driver development is coming along! Cheers!

Fantastic! Looking forward to updating, sharing and downloading those profiles, as well as making new ones. Though the mouse was expensive, I personally find the cost justifiable and worth every penny. I've seriously enjoyed the experience and use of it, and look forward to more innovative driver and software updates to take advantage of the quality hardware. On a side note... If i can contribute as a user in any way to help with the progress of the mouse, I'd be more than happy to oblige.

This all sounds grand. Mine is sitting in the box it came in, waiting for that Linux support we discussed in your CES booth. Could start with some documentation, including firmware flash instructions, technical details... a little bit would go a long way. OR, should I sell this thing?

When will we see the ability to link a profile to a executable? Also cut and paste a button config from one profile to another writings be good. Like copy the tilt config from desktop to a game profile. Seems solid and reliable. Nice!

Is there currently any way to add pivot analog controll to the mouse? it doesn't show in the driver below the mouse.

Thank you for this Update. I have some trouble with my mice. Every time i restart my PC i have to unplug it. Otherwise it will not connectet to the Driver. The cube is blinking red.
Where can i recieve some help or tell this problem to you? So you have any Forum or Discord?
      Greetings, Chris
