About this project
These days it feels like every startup is devoted to two things: making our lives easier and making our lives more efficient. But we asked ourselves: What are we doing with all of the time these applications are saving us? Do we want easier lives—or more balanced, happier lives?
We believe that the reason we want to free up time is because we desire to be in closer community with the people we love—so we started there. Instead of creating another time management tool, we asked: how can we help people be happier, improve relationships, and feel more whole? The answer was habits of gratitude. A simple and profound truth—if we appreciate the people and things we have in our lives, and get ourselves into habits of thankful thinking, we will be happier.
Everything we do and build at Gramr advances the idea that gratitude changes everything. With your help Kickstarters we will be able to put our first line of thank-you notes called “Gramrs" into production—and we will begin the movement toward a more grateful world. We’ve gotten knee deep into literature and research about the effect that gratitude has on relationships, brain chemistry, and overall happiness—it's beautiful and inspiring stuff, all of it, but the most important and recurring thing we’ve found is that habits of active gratitude are a key to happiness and wholeness. Our cards have been designed and developed alongside some of the best designers and artists in the country...you will love them, we promise.
Join us. Pledge. Spread the word. Every little bit helps.
Thanks a trillion,
Why OUR Cards?
- A Gramr means "thank you." More social, less media. When you send someone a Gramr, it means you care. Gramr means gratitude, it's in the details. From now on, this is what gratitude looks like.
- Better cards. We set out to build something that reflected the amount of time and thought it takes to send a thank-you note. These are a far cry from the glossy rectangular cards that line the shelves of grocery stores. It was time to change the game. From the lining of our square shaped envelopes, to the thick paper and smear-free texture of the cards themselves—we obsessed over details. These are cards people will never throw away—watch out fridge.
- Subscriptions make life easier. Have cards when you want them. This is about getting into a habit that will make you happier. Once you taste a life of gratitude, you'll never go back. New and awesome cards at your door at the start of every month. FREE SHIPPING every time, packaged to impress.
- Great Backer Service! It's the little things that count...like the option to add stamps to your reward at no mark-up. Need suggestions on who to send cards to?We've got some. We'll give you tips on how to 'say thanks' in any situation. We'll do everything we can to make sure your card sending experience is a memorable and positive one. We're a community, we believe in humans, you love others and we love you.
Let's take a closer look at this stuff...
Below are the first 10 images—10 more photos from the best photographers in the country will be available by the time this campaign is over. (some photographers include @alice_gao; @lauralawsonvisconti; @robinmay; @dew; @seacannon; @nicholasjared)
You can be sure that there will be a photo for any kind of thank-you that you have in mind! (At the end of the campaign we will reach out to each backer and ask for his/her image choices—if you have a hard time choosing we can help!)

Risks and challenges
Over the past several months we have been preparing ourselves to fulfill orders as soon as the campaign ends—we believe 30 days is a long time to wait, and we want you to start building these incredible and life changing habits as soon as possible. Toward that end, we understand production, printing, and paper milling lead times, and fully expect to fulfill your orders within the first two weeks after the campaign ends.
In the event that the response to this movement is overwhelmingly positive (and we hope it will be!)—we will provide backers with real-time production and fulfillment updates, and we will make every effort to ensure that delays don't last more than a few weeks.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
