With the goal in sight I want to let everyone know about our Stretch Goal. If we reach $35,000 (lowered from $36,000), then Kickstarter backers will get not one but two exclusives. All backers who pledge at the $10 and higher level will get early access to the 6-player expansion. We can't change the description once people have backed, so we're putting it here. We've decided to add to the pledge levels, so that you can get more for your money. All levels $25 and up will now receive the $25 level of the signed artwork and Vampire Werewolf Fairies, our quick "Take that" style game which was a followup to our card game Zombie Ninja Pirates. Both games can be played separately, or be combined for one mega-game of up to 10 players.
All backers at the $100 level will also receive one of the last copies of Zombie Ninja Pirates. We only have a few copies of this game left, and they'll go to you if you back at this level and we are successfully funded.
Gozer Games has published several successful games over the years, most of which were created by me and funded internally. My most recently published game was Vampire Werewolf Fairies, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter and won the Gaming Genius award for Best Non-Collectible Card Game 2011. Last year, I had the pleasure of finding a great game at Origins by game designer Brian Lewis. This is the first game that Gozer Games has licensed from another designer, and is the largest game I have undertaken to manufacture. I have already put quite a bit of money and countless hours into making and playtesting this game, but for it to be a success I need your help. $30,000 is a little under what I figure I will need to cover the remaining costs for all the fantastic artists, the manufacture of the game with Panda, and shipping.
It is the 1920s, a time of much industrial building and growth. In this board game, you must invest in building factories and businesses, in order to produce goods and sell them to gain victory points. It is a delicate balance of money, production, and goals. The person who can best manage their buildings and meet their goals in 7 turns will win.
Each player starts the game with 4 workers and $6000. Every turn, players first buy buildings, then place workers on those buildings or on the board. Factories allow you to produce goods, while Businesses allow you to sell those goods for money or victory points. A good player needs to balance their production and sales, and encourage other players to sell with them to maximize sales. Board elements allow players to take advantage of bonuses, such as extra production, building improvements, and Corporate Strategy cards. Corporate Strategy cards help give players additional goals and direction, by specifying additional ways to gain victory points.
At the end of 3 turns, on years 1923, 1925, and 1927, upkeep will be due, and players must pay to maintain their buildings, or will need to take out loans. Players will need to sell enough goods before then to have enough money to cover the costs, as loans are worth negative victory points at the end of the game. After year 1927, whoever has the most victory points from combined sales, buildings, and Corporate Strategy cards wins the game.
Titans of Industry is a rich worker placement/resource management Euro-style game. It plays 3 to 5 players, and plays approximately 20-25 minutes per player.

As mentioned above, the board, cards, and chits in the video are prototype pieces. You can see a more final version of the board below.
There are 7 turns. Each turn, all players do the following, in order.
1. Buy buildings. Factories produce goods, while Businesses let you sell goods to the bank for money or VP.
2. Place workers, on any player's Factories, Businesses, or on any available spot on the board.
3. Get goods from Factories and the Goods area of the board.
4. Sell goods on Businesses and use the Services area of the board.
5. Gain Advances for future turns from the Advances area of the board.
6. Pay upkeep for buildings you own and workers you train.
7. Maintenance. Take back workers, replenish goods, and advance the turn order.
Money will be tight, so try to gain money early on to pay upkeep, otherwise you might have to take a loan. If you don't pay off your loans by the end of the game, you lose VP. Later in the game, you can sell goods for VP as well as money, to gain the upper hand and win.
