I love word games and I love party games, so I made a game that combines the best elements of both!
"Wordariffic" is a completely new standalone game influenced by party games such as “Apples to Apples” or “Cards Against Humanity” and word creation games like “Scrabble” or “Bananagrams”.
**YEAH, IT'S FREAKING 12 BUCKS**
How to Play
Each player gets 11 letter cards and tries to make a word that best relates to a random theme. The last player to put down a word loses their chance to play this round and becomes the judge. The player(s) with the longest word gets 1 point. The player with the best word (as judged by the judge) gets 3 points. The game ends when the 32 point chips have all been handed out.
The game style morphs to fit your audience. When I play with my kids, I use the same cards but I might make different choices as to how to arrange them when I play with adults.

1 ten-sided die
100 cards with 10 themes each makes 1000 different themes.
About 30 minutes
Roll the 10 sided die each round to see what the new theme word is.
How the heck am I shipping this game the day after the Kickstarter ends?
I went ahead and made a small print run of the game in its final form. This Kickstarter will fund the larger print run for retail and distribution.
Risks and challenges
Since I already have a pilot printing finished, the risks are extremely low. If we get up to the numbers needed for a full scale print, we might encounter the usual delays from printers, dockworkers and other people who conspire against game delivery.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
