How would you like to play more games in the same amount of time?
"Love and Hate" is a meta game that goes on while you are playing any point-based game. It is like a universal expansion.
Here's how it works:
Deal an identity card face up and a love and hate card face down to each player.
Play any point-based game as normal.
When that game is done, count up the points and declare a winner of the base game then determine your score in the love hate meta-game by adding your secret love's score to your score and subtracting your secret hate's score. High score wins the love and hate game.
Love and Hate adds a social dynamic to any point based game!
Here is a link to the rules:
What if I love myself?
You add your score to your own just as if you were any other love. It counts the same. However since nobody else secretly loves you, you might find it harder.
What if I hate myself?
Since you subtract your score from your score, you now don't care at all how you do (which might annoy whoever secretly loves you!) now, you just care about who you secretly love.
What if I love and hate the same person?
Your love and hate cards cancel so you're just scoring based on your score in the game.
Risks and challenges
Note the conspicuous lack of a plea for help in this pitch. This game is already printed. I had 18 cards left on a print run for Palaces so I just slotted this in. Unless there is a zombie apocalypse, I'm just going to send out the surveys the minute the campaign ends and start shipping to backers one week later.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
