Unlocked: Mansion of Mana is a set collection game where you take on the role of young wizards competing to become the last great wizard's apprentice. To win you must be the first to make your way through the mansion. But this mansion isn't just any ordinary mansion; each room you enter grants you an ability that can be used to get ahead or put others behind.
Unlocked is a sequential set collection, hand management game where players attempt to collect elemental rune stones required to summon magical keys to open rooms. As the players open the rooms, players are able to acquire unique powers and abilities that will help them open more rooms. The first player to enter a room in each section of the mansion reaches the wizard first and wins the game.
All games come with the following components listed. Also, the stretch goals will be included in all versions of the game unless otherwise stated as a "Kickstarter Exclusive".
Simply add any of the amounts to your Kickstarter to automatically include these extra additions to your order:

For this Kickstarter we are offering a one time only collector's edition that comes in a numbered, hand crafted wooden puzzle box with several hidden compartments that hold a unique one of a kind key created to resemble one of the keys from the game. These are on a first come, first serve basis. There will only be one collector's edition for each unique key in the game.
In the picture above we show the box with hinge open and closed and revealing 1 of the secret compartments. There will be at least 1 other secret compartment but likely more. As our craftsman works out the details we will post additional information. Of course, we won't spoil all of the secret compartments. It should also be noted that the inside compartment will be able to hold the Kickstarter cardboard box version of the game, so you can choose to keep your game in the wooden box or to store it seperate.
"One of the biggest positives of this game is the amount of replayability - there are a TON of keys and the game feels different based on what keys are available. You end up trying to figure out which keys to go after- Powerful abilities or abilities that combo together or to just go after cheaper abilities because you have the right cards. You end up building this cool engine to make your way through the mansion." - Game Boy Geek
"I like how quick it plays, the art, and the solo variant. Normally, I find solo play variants tacked on but it was REALLY enjoyable!" - James at Board Game Spotlight
"I found that chaining abilities and locking others out of keys is where the real strategy of the game lies." - Vincent Paone of Dad's Gaming Addiction
"There is a lot of great nuanced gameplay and flavor from using the keys abilities... and the key artwork is FANTASTIC! Blown away by that!" - Eduardo Baraf of Edo's Game Previews
Everyday Game Players
"The game's engine building aspect was strategic while still being quick and light. With a little polish this could easily become a sleeper gateway game." - Tom G of Rockford, Illinois
"She [his wife] loves this game. I think we are going to play it everyday." - Danny L of Lakeland, Florida
"One of the few games I've played where the solo play was so good it rivaled the entertainment of group play." - Nate M of Cedar Rapids, Iowa
"The key artwork is breathtaking. I kept calling them Key Blades because it reminded me so much of Kingdom Hearts artwork. But it also has hints of Doctor Strange and Locke & Key theme mixed in. It's very fun." - Eric B of Cedar Falls, Iowa
"This game is PRETTY!" - Emily L of Marion, Iowa
As this is our second Kickstarter Campaign, we have learned some things. Below is a notional schedule that will be used to track our progress through funding and production.
Risks and challenges
The great news about Unlocked: Mansion of Mana is that the game is completely finished, with the exception of some stretch goals. The artwork has been finalized and proofed, awaiting being sent to the printers. Also, this game is backed up by a Good Knight Games, LLC guaranteed delivery. Good Knight Games, LLC has delivered 1 game previously and I stake my reputation and my companies reputation on the delivery of this second game.
However, no Kickstarter campaign is completely without risk. There is always risks that can occur during shipment or manufacturing that simply outside the control of Good Knight Games, LLC. But the companies I work with are professionals who pride themselves on their reputation.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
