Whew! You folks are amazing! We hit the $15K reach goal, although we dipped below at the last minute. Either way, you hit the number and we're going to give people the Bonus Accessory anyway. You earned it.

This has been a great 3 1/2 weeks. We've met a lot of new friends, learned more about what people like about ModiBot and maybe added a few gray hairs in the process.

We're proud of the work we did and really proud of to have so many people engage in the idea. We weren't sure if it would work, but you proved the value of it.

Earlier tonight, I had a bunch of folks ask- how long til we see samples? The simple answer is that you've been seeing production samples from the molds in China this whole time!

BUT, we've just started making ModiFications on the molds because we were still getting a bit of breakage. Those mods should be finished in the next 10 days or so. Once we're satisfied with those samples, we pull the trigger on production and about 30-45 days after, we'll have parts in hand. We'll be revising and compiling new files for the 3d printed components and maybe putting in orders about 40 days from now.

Next weds, we'll get initial color chips for the yellow/gold and purple chips. We may purchase gray even though we didn't unlock it as a color option, but more on that in the future.

We'll be building your pledge level surveys beginning next week. This is where you'll be able to order which figures you want and choose which colors you prefer. I think these might take a few weeks to build for all the little options, but we'll be able to talk more about timing for the surveys soon.

If you'd like to keep up with things as they happen, the best place to see the behind the scenes development and fulfillment process will be  We'll continue to email updates just like this one, to share the highlights and keep everyone informed about surveys, mailings, etc.

We can't thank people enough for reaching deep and helping us to achieve this. It really means a lot.

Now for a couple days of rest and then on to the fun part!

Best wishes,

Wayne and Tucker

Congratulations! My purple Mo V3 would congratulate you also but alas he can't he is a Mo. But he sure can pose. As soon as I figure out how to remotely press a digital shutter this guy will be in a stop motion video.
