Hello Fleyers,

This last year has just been fantastic. We started 2015 with the goal to build a complete prototype of our flying ball, launch a crowdfunding campaign and go present it at the CES in January 2016.

Well, it looks like we are so far on schedule :-) The Kickstarter campaign is doing really well and, after three weeks, we are now at 95% of funding! This means we are now 15 Fleye away from being funded, with 22 days to go!

Thank you ALL for contributing, sharing, and sending us your positive comments and ideas throughout this past year, we really appreciate your enthusiasm for the project!

We wish you and your family a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year 2016 !

Latest news from the lab

This past week has been really busy for us, finalizing the assembly and setup of our prototypes and testing our CES demos. We now have four fully functional Fleye prototypes that will be used inside our arena at CES!

We've also continued working on our demos. One of the will be the 'push for selfie' demo that we already presented in the last update with a 360 video. Here is another video showing both the push and the video from the drone.

Behind the scene interview with Laurent

Laurent has been interviewed by Jay from Maker Paradise, discussing about Fleye, the genesis of the project, the challenges but also the lessons learned during our campaign. If you want to learn more and get another perspective on the project, go ahead and listen here.

Coming up next week

We are flying out to Las Vegas next week, so we have time to setup the demos at the booth. We'll be at CES from 6th to 9th and will share news from the show floor on our Facebook and Twitter. If you stop by, let us know so we can meet and show you a demo at the booth. This also means we'll probably be less reactive to emails/comments/messages. We'll catch up when we are back home.

Until next time,

Laurent & Dimitri
