Go Dotty is a new abstract family board game, which is easy to learn but takes strategy and tactics to master it. The rules to the game are simple, connect the dots to create the most lines-of-three to win the game.
The fun doesn’t need to end once you’ve mastered the base game, with alternative rules the game has an endless shelf life.
Easy to pick upThe game play itself is really simple and easy to learn. Each player starts with five tiles and takes it in turn to place a tile, the first player can go wherever. Each time you place one, you get to pick a new one.
Connect the dots
The next player has to build off that tile, and place their tiles next to that one, but has to make sure the dots of the two tiles faces match, so a four with a four, three with a three and so on.
Each player has to create the most lines-of-three as possible to win. But be mindful that you can’t make lines-of-four and watch out your opponent doesn’t block you.
Dead squares and block-build tiles
Once you’ve made a line-of-three the spaces at the end become dead squares to that player, unless they use the block-build tile. Once the block-build tile is laid then that player can build off around it, but it also blocks the opponent from laying their tiles on the squares around it.
How to score
You can score horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Tally your score as you go along on the pad in the set. The most lines-of-three wins.

An optimistic prediction of the timeline:
- March: KS completes
- Mid-March: Submit Files to manufacturer
- April: Samples and Press-pass / Manufacturing
- End May: Shipping from China begins
- Mid July: Arrives in ports
- End July: Fulfilment commences
- August / September: Fulfilment completed. Most backers have their copies.
PLEASE NOTE: If there are any delays it could push this back farther for completing fulfilment. The above is an optimistic prediction
Risks and challenges
Go Dotty has been in development for nearly two years, where it has been tested and refined and then tested some more. We feel we’re 99.9% there but will be keeping an eye out for that 0.01% idea to make Go Dotty even better. All the reviews that have come back so far have been great.
Most of the design and artwork is done and we’re pretty much ready to go, there are some things we’d love to tweak if time is permitting.
We are working with WinGo Games, one of the top manufacturers of Board games.
Shipping and Distribution
We’re using a major distributor for our global packing, shipping and customer service, who specialise in toys and games. We are also using a local UK friendly company to help reduce costs of postage further in the UK. Shipping speeds and reliability varies in different parts of the world, and is largely out of our control, but should there be any delays, we'll be sure to keep you updated.

Backers page has a finite life span, we’d like it to be infinite but we haven’t got a time machine or other science in which to see the future.
