An extra set of tips would be nice. Foam, or even a backup pair of silicone.
Oh!! How about a earplug material upgrade? Maybe some kinds of comply foam (I think that's the company) tips? I hear those are the bomb and many ear device kickstarters do that as a stretch goal.
How about a holder for the earplugs that clips onto a watchband. That way they are always with you.
@ Dana- Love your question! It's actually a very relevant one for Kickstarter campaigns. Thanks for your reply. We only needed $20K to finalize tooling costs. We, like most other campaigners push for stretch goals to generate as much additional capital to help expand our products into the market place-which is an important aspect of the Kickstart concept. Also most people think when you raise money on Kickstarter that the whole amount goes in a companies profit column. We wish that were true! Most projects don't even break even on their costs for running a campaign. Others are very lucky to break even. Some run carefully enough to achieve a 10-30% profit margin after all costs of running and fulfilling a campaign. Those profits are essentially what get used to kickstart the product into the market place- so we continue to set stretch goals to help achieve our strongest position going into the marketplace. Hope this helps- plus it's just fun to continue to achieve greater heights, which gives us more capital and we can send more rewards to all of you- our awesome backers!
Really excited for the plugs, but with the "stretch" goals, sounds more and more scheme-y. If you only needed $20,000, not sure why you keep pushing it...
Add magnets in the caps so they can connect to each other when not in use so as to not lose one =]
How about a cord of some type that can attach to the plugs so that the plugs can hang around the neck when not in use? That would be great for set breaks at concerts when I don't want to put them away since I'll need them again soon. The pull tabs may be a good spot to attach a cable to.
What about a color to the filter as an option? I know I'll go with black but maybe some folks want some color. I know if you are at the range they always want proof you have ears on. If they had red inserts that would stand out. You could say they were "shooter style" or something.
I assume these will be available either in stores or online later? What about a Kickstarter exclusive color as the next stretch goal? I'm thinking purple would look good but the community as a whole can decide.
