You start by choosing one of the many Races the GM decides is available for your adventure. Races provide a character with abilities and Stat Modifiers. This is the only time a character will receive a +/- to a statistic. All other modifiers from here on are in way of bonus dice.
Next, you would choose one of the six Roles available.
Agitator, Defender, Enhancer, Ranged, Scrapper, Tactician.
Each Role provides a character with Statistic Increases, Specialisations and a unique perk which will be unavailable once character creation is completed.
Each Role has three paths, which a character must choose one to start with at character creation.
Warrior Path, Rogue Path, Arcane Path.
Each Path is unique to the associated Role and provides a set of Specialisations, Perks and Starting Equipment.
Once this process is completed you work out your base Health and Energy. These are related to Physique and Focus.
Then you gain 150 Character Development Points to fully customise your characters Statistics, Specialisations, purchase new Specialisation or Powers, customise Perks, or purchase new Perks, and even increase your Health & Energy.
Then you are ready to go!
Once completed your character can be further customised throughout the adventure or the campaign by spending Character Development Points earned through achieving objectives and roleplay.
