Dear all,

On behalf of NeuroDigital Technologies, I’d like to apologize for this long blank on updates and comments! Despite of being inactive, simply we have been in burst mode!

Maybe some of you have been following up us thanks to Twitter, Facebook or G+ (Otherwise, please follow us!) but just in case I summarize what have happened along this time.

This campaign has been a decisive step forward for the company and has opened new horizons for funding and business opportunities! And you all are the “Alma Mater” of our success!

We were at Gamescom 2015 in cologne presenting Gloveone with the “Touch Warrior” Demo using Kinect v2 + Oculus DK2 + Gloveone in both hands and it surprised all attendees, catching all the attraction!

There we were lucky to meet with Oculus and HTC Vive among others and I only have one thing to say: Why on Earth Gloveone isn’t the default controller of these systems yet?

Then we assisted to IFA in order to meet with Sony and Project Morpheus … We hope to give exciting news about that next month when we travel to Silicon Valley again.

We took advantage of Immersed VR conference as speakers to launch the new and redesigned Gloveone Pre-Order website … so if you want to get your Gloveone and didn’t do that during Kickstarter campaign now you have your second batch opportunity.

Regarding to the actual status and pipeline of Gloveone, three big news here;

First one is that we are still deciding materials and final appearance of Gloveone. There is only one decisive task and it’s to reduce the number of sizes the maximum as possible. We have almost final design for both of them, and even though we are not permitted to show yet because patent and IP matters, must say that it respects the basis and fundamentals of the piece of hardware you have paid for. We promised you’ll be proud of your Gloveone!

Second one is regarding to specifications milestones: Fingers motion tracking is ready without the use of an external sensor thanks to its mind-blowing technology using 6 gyroscopes.

Nevertheless, Gloveone still needs an optical tracking system for hands tracking (Movement in X,Y,Z Axes) even though rotation is provided by an 9-AXIS IMU. As before, Gloveone is virtually compatible with any tracking sensor including Leap Motion, Intel Realsense, Kinect, webcams, and … shortly Samsung Gear VR and Cardboard Glasses!

Third one is the coming Samsung Gear VR support which enables a true freedom fact: No cables at all! You’ll be able to move and touch virtual things everywhere.

We are very committed to accomplish shipment forecast with only these things pendant:

  • New PCB manufacture with 7 IMU integration – October 2015
  • Final appearance and materials – November 2015
  • FCC & CE marks – January 2016
  • Shipment - February 2016
