Frequently Asked Questions
Glo Bible is unique in that it connects several forms of media with Scriptures. Glo Bible is namely a content aggregator and platform first and a Bible app second. We also support open source development and encourages others to work on Bible apps. Glo Bible believes that the more high quality Bible apps that are out there, the more the church benefits by this.Last updated:
Right now we are preloading the ESV, KJV, and HCSB translations for free and offering the NIV, NKJV, Amplified Bible, NIrV, and the NCV for a price. We are actually one of only a few Bible companies that have approval to use the Digital Bible Library (http://www.everytribeeverynation.org/library). This means that we can quickly integrate almost every translation out there. We do have to charge for certain translations because they are owned by publishers. Our goal is to at some point have every translation available but we don't anticipate that happening until end of 2016.Last updated:
Glo Bible was originally designed for a desktop architecture. We completely reimagined Glo to reflect a mobile first universe as the majority of users are accessing the Bible through their mobile devices. Glo Bible is now not the only provider of content but we are partnering with other publishers, pastors and content providers.Last updated:

We plan on launching Glo iOS early 2016. We hope to close the Kickstarter campaign with the initial iOS launch. After finishing the Kickstarter we plan on completing Android and web later in 2016. Part of the reason we are running the Kickstarter is to raise funding for further development of the product and for the Android and web development.Last updated:
For a long time now, we’ve been gathering feedback from users and doing quite a bit of research. This has been a long and rewarding process. For the past year, we’ve put together a new team from the ground up, with a new vision. We’ve been developing relationship with various partners and content creators such as Zondervan, Crossway, Frances Chan, etc. We have also partnered with Fishermen Labs, a top app development agency to develop a reliable and quality app. All this has taken a lot of time and effort, but we’re happy to say that it’s really paid off.Last updated:
Right now we are partnering with the most reputable scholars, pastors and content creators but as we scale we plan on opening up the publishing platform to others. We recognize that content will need to be vetted and are working on formalizing how this is done.Last updated:
Yes, this is our statement of faith:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and the inerrant Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).
We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; I Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16).
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; John 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28).
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, Who gifts us to accomplish Christ’s purposes in the world and Who manifests His presence to the world through Christ’s church (Romans 8:13-14; Romans 12; I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20; I Corinthians 12; I Corinthians 14; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).
We believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (I John 4:16-17).Last updated:

We’re happy to say that we’ll be consolidating the various versions of Glo into a single app. This reduces the need to download various versions. We will slowly retire the other versions as we start to consolidate content into the new Glo.Last updated:
