Our test kit is simple to use.
You can use the swab in our kit to rub against the inside of your cheeks using light pressure. You would then dip this swab into a vial containing a stabilising fluid. And you would then mail us this vial back for DNA sequencing.
We don’t require any blood tests. Period.Last updated:
Our turn around time for processing is between 2 and 3 weeks. This is much faster than what 23andMe and Ancestry provides their users. The shipping fees within US is included in the kit. If you live outside US, you’ll have to pay for shipping your sample to us. This is going to be a nominal price as you would be only mailing us back the vial, which is very light weight.Last updated:
Yes, our reports look for genes that translate into lactose and gluten intolerance. The gluten report will be refined over time to look for more secondary SNPs.Last updated:
Pronounced “snips,” SNPs are nucleotide changes at a particular location on the genome that are seen in more than 1 percent of the population. As you can imagine, there are plenty of them - roughly 10 million. A majority of these are harmless, but some of them are biological markers for diseases and are directly responsible for causing diseases. There can be multiple SNPs that work together to elevate your disease risk.
We look for these SNPs and see how they correlate with disease risk and nutrients. We use this information to generate your personalized reports.Last updated:

Gini stories helps you learn about health-nutrition-gene relationships. This is based on the science of nutrigenetics and backed by research studies. It is a very fresh and innovative approach to looking at genes, nutrition and food together in one place. We’ll break down complex information and provide you with the latest research to aid your decision making. It’s divided into health risks (gene expression, bone health, mental health, etc..), traits (ex. perceptions of taste) and wellness - think lactose intolerance and weight gain tendency. Digging into each item allows you to see the level of risk (ranges from very high to normal), read further about the related genes and understand how it ties back to nutrition (nutrigenetic factors).Last updated:
Our health reports provides a snapshot of your nutrition needs based on your genetic risks and compares it to the RDA recommendations. It acts as an accurate guide to your specific micro or macronutrient needs. The health section breaks down various nutrients and their risk levels for you based on your inherent health risks projected by your gene stories. You are provided with nutrition deficiency risk indicators ranging from very high to normal. You can learn more about a particular gene’s function and the associated health effects.Last updated:
