Thank you very much for your kind donations.
I've received a few questions from a cluster of people who seem very angry. I cannot guess at the motives - I'm offering a gift to someone in return for being able to continue producing art.
To answer those questions:
1.) no, this was not a commissioned piece, and no, I did not cast the resin. The original maker is proprietary information. If that is a dealbreaker for you, so be it.
3.) the guarantee that this will be worth a fortune to future collectors is not legally binding. Unfortunately, I cannot predict the future with 100% accuracy. Again, if that is a dealbreaker for you, so be it.
4.) this is not a raffle. In return for a kind donation, I will be able to give this lovely gift to one donor.
5.) the piece is solid resin, including the rhinestone crystal.
6.) this does not violate the terms of Kickstarter; it was approved by Kickstarter.
7.) This was indeed handpainted, and was not a "uniform spray paint".
