In celebration of the 2016 24 hour live Toy Break event, we are making a special 10 year Toy Break coin!
What is Toy Break? I'm glad you asked! Toy Break is our weekly show featuring news and reviews about designer vinyl, plush, action figures, collectibles, events, interviews, and more in the wonderful world of toys! Hosts Ayleen and George bring you a life time of toy collecting experience combined with the perspective of toy makers, artists, and designers. As the dynamic duo behind October Toys, they have over a decade of toy production experience and are joined by a variety of guest hosts as they tear open their latest toy finds!
One side of the coin shows the Toy Break logo and the year the show was established. It also marks the words we say so often, take it out and play with! If there is one thing the hosts of Toy Break like to do, it's open toys and play with them!
If that's not your thing, just flip the coin over, where you will see the crossed hammers of Toy Break, along with the words: keep it in the box.
Can't decide whether to open that new Batman figure or keep it mint in box? Flip a coin and let Toy Break decide for you! (Just don't blame us when you open the super rare variant and kill the resell value!)
The Toy Break coin will be 1.5" in diameter and will be made with an antique "silver" finish.
Want more than 1 coin? Awesome! You can add as many as you like! Simply use the "Manage My Pledge" button and increase your pledge amount. 1 coin = $10, so simply add $10 for each additional coin you want.
International orders please note - If you order 5 or more coins you will need to add an additional $7 for shipping as the weight of the coins pushes the shipping total up.
#1 - $1600 - Capsules! Each coin purchased will include a hard shell plastic capsule to display your coin in, for free! (see update #1 for pics)
#2 - $2200 - Sequential Edge Numbering! Each coin will now be numbered for added collectible value! The sooner you back the lower the number you'll get!
#3 - $2900 - We will make a Toy Break tv logo lapel pin, and give one free to every backer who pledges for a coin in this campaign. (see update #3 for pics)

Risks and challenges
We have produced a series of collectible coins with 5 artists in the past called Pocket Change. We have also made the collectible coins for the http://www.designercon.com/ convention in Pasadena Ca. We have experience making coins. We have the supplier lined up and ready to go once funding is received. All that said, manufacturing always has challenges, especially when you have to rely on outside vendors. We have many years experience making projects and dealing with these hiccups, so we are well trained in getting through them and getting the products into your hands as fast as we can.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
