OMFG! Series 4
Remember the fun of collectible mini figures like M.U.S.C.L.E. and Monster In My Pocket? So do we! That's why we are proud to present to you with five new awesome characters in our continuing line of OMFG - Outlandish Mini Figure Guys!
OMFG Series 4 consists of five figures including:
1. Fossil Freak designed by Michael Stearns from Washington and sculpted by George Gaspar from California
2. Wooly Wisp designed and sculpted by Billy Parker from South Carolina
3. Bullseye designed by (Raging Nerdgasm) Tom Khayos and Ana Bruja-Khayos from Florida sculpted by George Gaspar from California
4. Tree Witched designed by MudMarox and sculpted by GormTransMonster from Italy
5. The Siren designed by Corwin Webb from California and sculpted by George Gaspar from California
The OMFG project originated from the talented group of artists, designers, and toy enthusiasts on the October Toys/Toy Break forum (http://www.octobertoys.com/forum). After successful campaigns to produce the first three OMFG series (available now online and at many retail locations), hundreds of character ideas were submitted from all around the world and the forum voted for their favorite designs to be put in to production.
As you can see, bringing this project to life has truly been a community effort and now we invite you to be part of that community! The prototypes are finished and we are ready to move forward with overseas production. With the help of Kickstarter contributors like yourself, we look forward to continuing this fantastic line of community created figures.
We also invite you to come join us in the forum and submit your characters for future OMFG series at http://www.octobertoys.com/forum
Speaking of future series, we would like to note that voting for the next series of OMFG characters will be handled a little differently than previous series - only OMFG Series 4 Kickstarter backers will be able to vote on Series 5 designs. This includes all OMFG Series 4 Kickstarter backers who pledge $1 or more, regardless of reward level.
Charles Marsh (aka Monsterforge) is a designer and customizer who we are proud to have been working with since the very first series of OMFG. He has generously offered up his time and skills to provide a limited number of original hand painted resin prototyped of OMFG Series 4!
You can check out more of his work on his blog here: monsterforge.blogspot.com

Bonus OTMFG BrainWaves figure!
Ayleen and I decided to make the campaign more enticing! We are planning on making Joe Whiteford's BrainWaves figure in the next batch of OTMFG figures we produce, so we thought it would be fun to give him away to backers of OMFG Series 4 on Kickstarter!
Just like we did with the ZOMBIE Pheyden in OMFG S3 Kickstarter, the BrainWaves figure will be for all pledges $27 level and over. We will include a BrainWaves to match each set of OMFG in your pledge...for no extra charge! So if you pledge for one set of flesh OMFG and one set of black OMFG, you will also receive one flesh BrainWaves and one black Brainwaves.
You have to back at least the $27 level in order to qualify, but you may add on extra sets to your order, and that will also get you extra BrainWaves!
BrainWaves is not part of the OMFG line, but presented as a bonus OTMFG (October Toys Mini Figure Guys) who will also play well with your other OMFG.
Huge thanks to Joe Whiteford http://joewhiteford.blogspot.com/ for helping us make this bonus figure possible.
We can never thank everyone who has supported this project enough, but we hope you will enjoy BrainWaves as much as we do.
Please Note: BrainWaves will only be included free of charge with OMFG Series 4 sets pledged for on Kickstarter at the $27 level and above. We plan to make individual BrainWaves figures available for purchase from our online store in 2015.
Risks and challenges
What about possible production delays?
Good question! We have over a decade of experience producing all kinds of toys, so we are very familiar with the process. We also have five successful Kickstarter campaigns under our belt which went quite smoothly (thanks to our awesome backers!). There are occasionally unavoidable delays with these types of projects (i.e. quality control, shipping, customs, etc.), but we have allowed enough time with our expected ship date to account for minor delays. Of course we try our best to keep all of our backers updated throughout the production process and would let you know if anything unexpected came up.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
