Have a question?
Mike: thanks a bunch for the kind words and very glad to hear you are digging the patches and pleased with the campaign! Thanks for the ongoing support. I've got lots in store for all those up for the journey!
I received mine last week, I gotta say I'm very impressed by the quality and attention to detail, I posted by loot on Instagram and I had a few DM's from people asking where i got them and how can they get their own? Its pretty cool having something exclusive for the backers. Stoked for your next leg of your journey, George. Congratulations thus far.
Stuart: thanks so much and glad to hear! Thanks for backing once again, and more than happy to oblige on the art. I'm glad you liked that one!!
George always delivers and is awesome to deal with! My Art is going up on my wall next week really happy you let us choose what theme we wanted on the art :D
Iztok: so great to hear and thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to leave me a message. I really appreciate the support and look forward to having you on the Ghost Guard campaign (and future ones too)!
Received mine today. They are really beautiful and well made.
George excellent project I`m glad I took part in it. Can`t wait for new project.
Tina: great to hear, thanks! Thanks again for backing.
Andrew: correct, and to clarify further — none of the patches are iron-on. They have a plastic support backing only.
The PVC emblems have an outer sewing channel that can be used to sew them to the item you want to attach it to.
I'd suggest for anyone wanting to get the patches sewn on, see if your local dry cleaner does alterations. If so, most likely they will sew them on cheap. Mine did 3 patches for $8 on a shirt and hat, and I think she'd have done more at the same price. If they can fit it on the sewing machine, it takes them 2 minutes to do it.
Just to make sure I don't melt/burn anything unnecessarily, but the PVC emblem isn't an iron on patch, right? Anyone have any tips on how to sew these things on?
Received my patches today. They came out great. Thanks!
@Cameron: so great to hear, and thanks for the kind words! Thanks for sharing.
I received my patches today! All 3 patches are amazing, especially the Alien Airforce patch. The colors are very bright & vivid. I'm so glad I went for the customized I.D it's a very cool item. LOVE all the extras! I was really surprised, for what I paid this is a lot of stuff. So excited for the Ghost Campaign
Can't wait for the "ancient civilization" project! It must have something to do with me trying to prove over and over that my head was made of stone.
@Ron: great minds think alike! I have some ideas on the drawing board for "ancient civilization" themed patches — Easter Island, Great Pyramid, Stonehenge, etc. Will be revealing in due time :)
How about some Moai from Easter Island. Always been one of my favorites.
You must have read my mind — or my email newsletter — Mothman patch is already in the works for Cryptid Command Series 2. Sneak peek on the newsletter when I have something ready for sharing: http://coghillcartooning.com/subscribe
Need to make a MothMan patch
@Dom: $5 will cover the Velcro on the 4 patches and the PVC emblem (3 main patches, 2 stretch goal items). I will message you directly with details.
George, I'm pledged at the Seargeant level but I want to add Velcro... How much do I owe? An additional $5 or $6?
@BMock: if you (or anyone else) wants to upgrade to Velcro, just message me via Kickstarter and we will work it out.
And if anyone wants to upgrade their pledge, add on more patches or kits, etc, we can do that too. Just drop me a line.
@Ron: 5 patches total, if you qualify for stretch goals — the three main patches, the Cryptid Command shield, and the Paranormal Forces PVC emblem.
Is it 4 patches all together? Looks like I added $4.00 for that on Thursday.
How do I increase my pledge to get Velcro now?
Thanks Ron! And yes, all patches are available with Velcro.
Congrats on getting funded! Is the PVC patch available with velcro?
Jason & Cameron — thanks! And thanks to all of the backers who helped to make this possible, I really appreciate the support! Now let's get some cryptid patches made!
Congrats on the campaign & Happy Halloween!
Congratulations on another successful Kickstarter George.
Thanks to all the backers who answered the call of duty and upped their pledges, we just hit the $6,500 mark with über-backer Cathy's pledge increase! As long as things remain on track, that means the PVC emblems for the "Paranormal Forces" logo are unlocked as a stretch goal!
Just wanted to say thanks to all the backers who have been generously helping out to hit that revised stretch goal for the PVC emblem of the Paranormal Forces logo.
You wouldn't know it from the funding total which doesn't seem to change much, but we have had a lot of new backers in the past week. It's just that we are also having backers (often at the higher pledge levels) cancel their pledges. Kind of a 2 steps forward, 1 step back situation.
But hang in there folks, and thanks to those who've gone above and beyond the call of duty.
@AM: The dog tags are one of the stretch goal items which will be made if we can raise enough funds.
PVC dog tags sound really cool! Do you already have those made or is it just an idea for another campaign?
Just a heads up here for non-backers browsing the campaign: the stretch goals have been reconfigured to make the "Paranormal Forces" PVC emblem (rubber patch) unlocked at the $6,500 level. Existing backers can up their pledge to help meet that goal as many kind backers already have done.
@Labtech: If you want additional kits (3 patches, ID card) they are $25 per kit. Looks like you did it right.
Just to be clear, I pledged at the Supernatural Sergeant level for myself. My brother saw this and wanted in on it so I add another $25 for an additional set of 3 kits, or is it more? I've probably done it right, but paranoia has set in...
Informal poll time: which "Paranormal Forces" logo item more interests you — the PVC dog tags or the PVC emblem/patch?
@Brad: the art for the ghost campaign is coming along nicely. Sneak preview of the art in the next email newsletter! Good luck on that water heater :)
Hi George! My hot water tank blew, but I'm still with you! Can't wait for the ghost hunter campaign!
@Melissa: glad to have you on board! Thanks or supporting the campaign.
@Ron: I looked into doing just that, but pricing jumps considerably for 2-sided shirts at the quantities I am ordering.
Have you thought about putting a small logo on the breast and the larger screen on the rear. Not as stiff in the front because of the small logo. I'm 6'-6" and 275 pounds. I need to go with a 4XL to fit my shoulders. Bigger logos get kind of lost in the front.
I can't believe I haven't seen this before! Such a unique idea...I started with a low pledge but upped it to get all 3 instead. Immediately jumped to your Etsy shop and got the Yeti Squad one too. Can't wait for your next campaign!
Running some side campaigns for t-shirt pre-orders. Designs available: Cryptid Command shield, Paranormal Forces logo and the Bigfoot Patrol shield.
I am working on the 1-color art for all the other patch designs so they can be printed up as t-shirts too.
Totally optional, but many backers have asked for t-shirts and wanted to make them available.
@Cameron: Magnets unlocked! I'm glad to see those are getting produced as well.
@SPS: I agree! I'm hoping the second half of the campaign unlocks a few more stretch goals.
Hopefully we get the "Paranormal Forces" logo embroidered patch :-)
$14 to go till stretchgoal #2! Good because I really wanted those magnets!
@Taylor: awesome, thank you! Glad to have you on board now at least :)
The items from previous campaigns are on my Etsy shop, and I am going to be giving all backers at the "Supernatural Sergeant" or higher a coupon code for the shop for the duration of the campaign. That will go out in a private backer message shortly.
Upped my pledge for bigger art! I wish I would have seen these campaigns from the beginning, great looking product!
@Stewart: Thank you for helping to make that happen so quickly!
@Wendy: thanks as well for the early support and the social media promotion!
Awesome campaign! Loved the rewards for the Yeti Squad and Sasquatch Brigade campaigns! Can't wait to get this one. Congrats on reaching 100% so fast!!! I've shared it on facebook and twitter for you! ;)
