      Hi Alessandro,

We verified from the address you provided and our shipping receipts that your poster was indeed sent. We've been advised that international packages are sometimes held up in customs and can sometimes take as long as a month to reach their destination in rare cases.

Please keep us informed whether or not you receive your package in the next few days. If it still doesn't come, we'll message you and figure out the next steps!

    3. Creator Alessandro Mauri on May 7, 2012

My poster has not yet arrived. I'm from Italy.
Maybe because of the Euro crisis ? ;-)

    4. Creator John Luker on May 2, 2012

Received my posters last week. Great job guys! A quality product on time as promised.

    5. Creator Sigmund & Adam Fidyke on April 30, 2012

Thank you! Fantastic poster and my daughter loves it. Smiles all around.

    6. Creator Justinas Kersis on April 25, 2012

I thought the note will be drawn in Japanese, but now it's just useless, and japanese paper makes no sence at all. Other than that, poster looks rather nice.
      Cheers

    7. Creator Makis on April 25, 2012

Many thanks from London!! Got mine today and it's absolutely beautiful! Great jobs guys.

    8. Creator William Lipira on April 25, 2012

Just received my poster in the mail yesterday. It is beautiful. Also, got your note ^_^ . When I visit Japan again we will get together, though it might be a year or two. Take care guys, and Good Luck.

    11. Creator Peter Shin on April 12, 2012

@Chris....why do you expect to start shipping?

    12. Creator Alessandro Mauri on April 12, 2012

Is it possible to have some infos about the international delivery date?
      Thank you very much.

    13. Creator Jared Trezise on March 26, 2012

There we go, all done! Sorry for that!

    14. Creator Genki Kanji Poster on March 24, 2012

Jared, no worries on the survey... there's no official deadline per se, but the sooner we can get all the surveys in the better :)

      Thanks!

    15. Creator Jared Trezise on March 24, 2012

      Awesome :)
Umm, I hope I'm not holding you guys up, I'm still trying to get in contact with my classmate (as it's a weekend)
Is there an immediate deadline you need all the surveys answered by? I can just put mine through to make the deadline, because he wants a message but isn't torn up if circumstances work against it.

    16. Creator Genki Kanji Poster on March 23, 2012

      Jared: Works for us!

Marius: The message will be written on Japanese traditional paper, which will be shipped along with your poster. We can write it in either English or Japanese - just let us know what you'd like written and we'll be happy to do it!

    17. Creator Marius Frøisland on March 23, 2012

The "personalized message" where will it appare? Will it be written in english or in kanji?

    18. Creator Jared Trezise on March 23, 2012

      Congratulations guys! :)

      And awesome!
So if I were to get two messages, one for me and one for my classmate, do I just write two things in the survey box and put them in separate quotation marks?

    19. Creator Genki Kanji Poster on March 21, 2012

Thank you everyone! What an incredible finish!

    20. Creator Zunn Tahir on March 21, 2012

Thanks Zune! We're really at the victory stretch now! Let's get as many posters out there as we can during this last hour! Can't wait to start shipping these and writing messages for all of you amazing people!

    23. Creator Zunn Tahir on March 21, 2012

      So another 60 minutes left!!!!
ALL THE BEST AND GOOD LUCK!!!

    24. Creator Genki Kanji Poster on March 21, 2012

      Alexander,
Nobody on our team speaks Chinese or Korean, so it would be difficult right now!

      Jared,
If you ordered multiple posters and would like a message for each, we would be happy to send you multiple messages :)

    25. Creator Jared Trezise on March 21, 2012

It just occurred to me, the $5000 milestone Japanese paper notes are just one per order right? (That's what I was assuming anyway.)
I guess what I'm asking is: In cases of people who bought the two poster pack (one for me, one for a classmate who is interested) is there only the one note per order? Or one note per poster.

    26. Creator Jared Trezise on March 21, 2012

Haha, they sound like Japanese is their passion, but that's a good idea for branching out! :O They'd probably have to hire people just to make sure they're doing it all correctly though if they don't have training in the language themselves. :P

    27. Creator Alexander C. Yao on March 21, 2012

Have you thought of just doing one for Chinese? Or Korean? Just a thought :D

    28. Creator Jared Trezise on March 21, 2012

      Love the poster!
Doing my best to gather interest in my Japanese class at University (difficult, because I found the project with 36 hours to go and don't have my next Japanese class until after that, so trying through the university website.) Only just occurred to me after reading these comments to try asking my Japan Club too... -.-

So far I've got a few bites! :D
Trying my best to get up to 25 people, with 17 hours to go. T.T
      Have fun everyone!

    29. Creator trickstar on March 18, 2012

Thank you guys for the wonderful project! I've always wanted to learn some Japanese and write calligraphy so I believe this is perfect for me! Thanks again I cant wait!

    30. Creator Harry Ewasiuk on February 24, 2012

That's the spirit, guys! Nothing gained if nothing ventured. ;-)

      Harry,

Thank you once again for your support. We greatly appreciate your suggestions, and think it would be great to get some coverage from a large broadcaster like NHK. We will contact them with our story and hope for the best!

    33. Creator Harry Ewasiuk on February 22, 2012

      Thank you.

I would suggest also publicizing this project with high achools, middle schools, elementary schools and even weekend schools where Japanese is taught. Contacting local Japanese associations would help, too. Another possibility would be to contact NHK, one of Japan's biggest broadcasters to see if the could do a story on the project. I'd doubt they'd turn down this interesting, honorable story.

    34. Creator Genki Kanji Poster on February 21, 2012

      Harry,
Thank you very much for your well wishes, and for being our first backer! A big cheer for you!

      Sven,
Thanks so much for your pledge, your help in spreading the word, and your suggestion. We definitely think universities around the world are the perfect place to distribute these posters, as that's where many students start and increase their Japanese learning. We'll try to reach out to different Japanese clubs that we know. Thank you!

    35. Creator Sven Stähs on February 21, 2012

Have you considered contacting student councils in universities world-wide? I just wrote a mail to the "Deutsch-Japanische Gesellschaft in Bayern e.V." and asked them if they could spread the word to their members and any universities they have contact with, hopefully it helps ;)
Congrats to the nice start, 500$ already, not bad at all ^^

    36. Creator Harry Ewasiuk on February 21, 2012

A very worthwhile project, good luck with the funding!
