Magic is essential to almost every fantasy roleplaying system, and Fifth Edition is certainly no different. Nothing feels the same as being imbued with the power of your god, or twisting the arcane fabrics of reality to your very whim. And every Roleplayer has that story of when that seemingly useless utility spell was just the thing they needed to escape to harrowing encounter. And the lure of total arcane domination has players rolling up characters with nothing but Magic Missile and 4 HP to this very day.
Unfortunately, the core books only have so many spells. Don't get us wrong, we love what they did. Fireball is a real banger...and don't even get us started on how much we love Cure Wounds. But Gemhammer and Sons have always been committed to bringing you More, Better, Game Stuff, so we'd like to present The Gemhammer Grimoire.
The Gemhammer Grimoire is a book all about magical mysteries. In its pages you'll find over 100 New Spells, Epic Spellcasting, 15 Epic Level Spells, Exotic Spellcasting Components, 25 Magic Feats, New Subclasses for Spellcasters, 25 Magic Items for Spellcasters, and more, all for Fifth Edition and with that Gemhammer charm you've come to expect.
But we haven't given up on cards just yet. That's right, a full pack of spell cards, containing every one of the new spells you can find in The Gemhammer Grimoire, is also available from this project. While we want you to experience the full expansion of the magic system available through The Gemhammer Grimoire, we're not putting that above our goal to get you out of the tables in your books and back at the table with your friends.

Risks and challenges
This will be our 4th project on Kickstarter and the risks to this project are relatively small. We've never done a hardcover book before, so this is us branching into new territory. The Lapis dice are also new to us. The content of the book is about 75% complete, however with the additional of content from the stretch goals the amount of work needed to complete the book in increase. We want to have everything complete and in the mail for spring, if only so we have stock on hand for PAX East.
As with any project on kickstarter, the is the possibility of delays. this could be due to production delays, shipping, clearing customs or any number of other issues. We are attempting to mitigate those risks but they still present a potential problem for delivering the project on time.
**We are not set up for international duties and fees, any VAT or customs tax must be paid for by the individual purchasing it. Please reach out to us directly for returns.**Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
