Last Call For Hero Happy Hour!
First off... Thank you to each and everyone of you who have backed the Hero Happy Hour: On The Rocks - Graphic Novel Kickstarter. We appreciate your pledge and support more than this quick update can relay.
As of this moment, we've got about half a day to raise $1,500 to reach our funding goal. It's rally time! Many of you have graciously increased your pledges to help us reach our goal, and we thank you. In addition to your pledges, we're asking our backers to help spread the word during these last dozen hours of the campaign. If you were kind enough to back our project, we're hoping that you might take a moment to share that fact (again) via your favorite forms of social media (Ello, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter, Tumblr, etc...). If each one of our attractive and savvy backers were able to convince one other person to pledge at least $10 before 9:00pm Pacific we would successfully reach our funding goal.
This morning, Hero Happy Hour artist and co-creator Chris Fason posted this on his Facebook page...
"With less than 14 hours and over $1,500.00 to go, this will be my last plea for help. Hero Happy Hour has been a large part of Dan Taylor's and my life for the better part of 13 years. I first put pencil to paper in November of 2001. We started out self publishing, graciously on Dan's dime, and have run in the red pretty much since then. I don't think either of us ever thought we'd go this far along with this property, and we never expected to become rich and famous... We just love comics. We love making comics. And we love sharing our comics with you. This Kickstarter wasn't about stickers and prints and buttons and t-shirts, or any other kind of upper-tier incentives; it was about getting a brand new, full-color Hero Happy Hour story into as many hands as possible. If you want to help, please pledge or share the link. http://savethehideout.com
Thanks to everyone who has pitched in and shown us your love and support. You guys are amazing. #savethehideout"
That pretty much sums it up. Thank you for your support. Cheers!
