Greenbrier Games' Fantasy Resin Miniatures are a set of high-detail, customizable fantasy miniatures that can be used in a variety of tabletop games and RPGS. Each resin miniature will come with at least one Mutation Pack- an extra head and set of arms that you can swap out with the original parts. Here come the hunters, wanderers, and creatures of the night! With our Fantasy Resin series, immerse yourself in a world of dark, forbidden, and fantastical legends.
Below is the starting selection of miniatures available. The focus of this campaign is customizing your miniatures. Each character comes with one Mutation Pack (for now!) which consists of an extra head and 2 arms. Read more on Mutation Packs below.
Each character starts with one Mutation Pack unique to that character, and, with your votes and support, more packs can be unlocked as stretch goals. Mutation Packs give you creative options when building your miniature, so you have the power to create the personalized character you really want! Mutation Pack themes vary between characters, and the Mutation Packs are specific to the characters they come with.
As we shoot towards the stretch goals, don't be surprised if you see new Mutation Packs for your favorite characters make an appearance!
Below highlights what you would receive with each miniature.
Our Fantasy Resin minis measure on average 35 mm from base of the feet to eye height. They work perfectly on a 30 mm or 25 mm circle base. Our larger models, like the Abomination, are meant for a 40 mm base as he stands 78 mm tall. That’s 3 inches!
The miniatures are created in a polyurethane resin, in a light gray color, which has a shore hardness of 70D. The resin is not too brittle and not too flexible. Small parts, such as swords, can be bent a little without breaking and will return to their original shape. It is soft enough to be easily worked with a sharp knife, yet strong enough that it will not bend or sag over time. It is excellent for accepting primers and paint and showcasing for your miniatures collection.
What big high-detail teeth you have!
What’s so great about resin compared to our previous minis? See for yourself in this actual photo side-by-side comparison: the resin minis have a much finer detail than their PVC counterparts. Now you can count every tooth on Big Bad Wolf, or count every hair in Rosamu's majestic moustache. This level of detail makes resin minis ideal for painting and collecting.
The high quality resin material is what makes these minis stand out from the rest- normally you won’t see game components of this caliber because they are more expensive to manufacture- so consider this campaign a treat for tabletop gamers like us who can’t get enough when it comes to top-tier quality!
Though you can pick up single miniatures or a set of 3, you'll get the most value with our Epic Collector Tier. You receive all the miniatures from The Seekers, The Giants, and The Legendary character lists. Each character in the Epic Collector tier comes with their own Mutation Packs and all free unlocked stretches!
If you decide you want ADDITIONAL miniatures, either because you can’t get enough of a character or you want to add more characters to your tier, you can do so!
Additional characters from The Seekers character list (with their Mutation Packs and bases) can be added to your pledge for $15 each.
Additional characters from The Giants character list (with their Mutation Packs and bases), can be added to your pledge for $20 each.
Additional characters from The Legendary character list can only be added if you pledged as the Folklore Tier or or above. Additional copies of the Abomination (with his Mutation Packs and base) can be added to your pledge for $25. His towering size adds to his overall cost.
Adding extra miniatures may affect your end shipping amount.
You may have noticed some familiar faces in the lineup of characters. Among the roster are guest characters from Yashima and Fairytale Games. More than just reprints, these returning heroes will feature more detail than ever before, and with customization from their Mutation Packs, these old favorites will tout a brand new look.
For our loyal returning backers who are still waiting on either Yashima or Fairytale Miniatures to reach your hands, fear not, as you will receive them well before this project’s expected delivery. However, now is your chance to get a customizable, unprecedented quality miniature of your Yashima Rosamu and Dokubaba, or Fairytale Goldilocks!
Greenbrier Games has a strong repertoire of many different kinds of miniatures. We felt a good addition to this campaign were some of the characters from Yashima. This allows for those characters to be customizable and they can be used in your Yashima game!
Greenbrier Games is teaming up with Artistic Justice Games once again to add their expertise to this project! Their previous project, Fairytale Games: The Battle Royale, a survival tabletop card game, is crossing over with our campaign so well-known heroes and villains are making an appearance! These characters can be customized this time around and can be used for any tabletop game you would like, including Fairytale Games! They successfully funded their Kickstarter with some fantastic miniatures!
Greenbrier Games is also teaming up with a new partner, Twin Fire Productions! Twin Fire Productions is a board game company whose flagship game, Folklore: The Affliction, can use the miniatures from this Kickstarter campaign. We teamed up because our passion and love for games matches theirs and we’re excited to bring these custom miniatures to life!
We are all lifelong gamers in one form or another who have been leading dual lives- by day working normal jobs, by night (and on weekends) building games whether physical or digital. In our spare time, we have formed a successful board game development and publishing company. We are so excited to be focusing on custom fantasy miniatures with this Kickstarter!

With several successful Kickstarters under our belt, we have learned a lot about what it takes to get our games into your hands. One of the biggest things is how variable shipping can be. As such, we will be charging shipping after the Kickstarter concludes, according to the actual costs incurred to ship to your area. We will do this through our own Pledge Manager system after the campaign concludes.
There are two reasons we are doing this. First, it allows us to provide a lower rate on the actual pledge levels and structure a much tighter budget for the campaign and stretch goals since we do not have to estimate for shipping costs. Second, the funds raised for the project are 100% for the actual project itself rather than being partially inflated by shipping costs that may not be accurate.
We will be shipping through our various distribution areas. Depending on where you live, we will ship to you through our USA, Europe, Canada, or Australian centers.
Though the pricing may vary due to any add-ons you pledge for by the end of the campaign, we're anticipating an average shipping fee to be about:
- $6.50 to ship in the USA
- $8.99 in Canada
- $7.38 - $16.89 in the EU and Australia / New Zealand
- $45.00 - $58.65 to ship everywhere else using a small or medium flat rate USPS box. We estimated up to 12 miniatures should fit in a small flat.
Please note these are estimates and they may increase or decrease based on the quantity of stretch goals we unlock, final box size and weight and also the current postal prices at the time of shipping. These estimates are based on the Epic Collector Tier and above.
Here are some of our stretch goals for the campaign!
Risks and challenges
This is our seventh tabletop game Kickstarter project. Our first project started with cardboard and ended up with custom miniatures, cards, dice and expansion packs. From our past projects we've learned the ins and outs of nearly every facet of the board game manufacturing world. We've learned (painfully!) how to set realistic goals for both ourselves and our backers, hopefully making the process rewarding for everyone involved.
As with any project produced overseas, there can be unforeseen production delays, shipping delays, and customs delays. So we've learned (again painfully!) all about delays and ways to manage or avoid them. We know that some delays can’t be predicted or avoided, so we plan extra room in our schedule. This way we can give you the best estimate for the day we can get our game into your hands- because we want to ship our products as much as you want to receive them!
The 3D models for the seven characters have been completed. We just need to touch up some of the excellent mutation packs to show you the detail and customization of the resin characters, and put in the final touches- plus any new additions for the awesome stretch goals we might unlock! Of course, we've also learned to be realistic in the extra time needed for any extra content that may be added with our stretch goals. Any extra time we spend will be devoted to putting on the polish to make our game the best product it can be!
So, though there are potential delays in a manufacturing project like these fantasy miniatures, we are confident, with the experience from our last six successful projects and our close relationship with our manufacturer, that we will meet (or beat) our projected delivery date.
Thank you so much for your help making our dreams a reality!
