What if our desks could encourage us to be healthier? GAZE DESK creates an ergonomic working environment, optimized for your height and weight. It motivates you to keep up with your sit-stand routine, and empowers you to control your surroundings with touch of a button. It’s the smartest standing desk ever.

A standing desk can improve your posture and reduce eye strain, but only if it’s adjusted for your body profile. Enter your height and weight in our app, and GAZE DESK will adjust into the perfect position, whether you are sitting or standing. You can also adjust the desk position in two millimeter increments using the jog dial at the right-bottom side of your desk, or via the mobile app controller.
Nearly 8 out of 10 people between the ages of 18-44 suffer from text neck, a painful condition caused by putting extra weight on your spine by constantly looking down. Gaze Desk Duo comes with two tiers that are individually adjustable to match your eye level to your computer monitor. You can adjust each tier in increments as small as 2 millimeters.
There have been many adjustable standing desks, but none that forces you to keep up with a healthy standing routine over time. A sensor embedded inside the Gaze Desk tracks how often you stand. If you don’t stand up at least once every two hours, Gaze Desk can give you an extra nudge, be it subtle (a smartphone notification) or direct (the desk lifts on its own).
The Gaze Desk app lets you track your sit-stand patterns and check out how many calories you’ve burned while standing and working. Set your own routine goals to collect achievement badges, and share your achievements with your friends to compete and motivate each other.
Connect GAZE DESK to your favorite mobile apps through Bluetooth (BLE) and take control over your working environment. You can order your coffee machine to brew a fresh cup of coffee as you arrive at your desk, and have your lights turned on automatically when it gets dark. Anything is possible!
Whether it is classic, modern, basic, or chic - we know that design matters. GAZE DESK comes in various colors and materials, so you can create a work setting that makes you feel comfortable. Select from single or duo model, and pick the shape of the desk that suits your work setting the best.
If you want a height adjustable standing desk but without the extra features, you can order the basic model. (See below for full details.) If you want a desk with a unique look and advanced features, go for a dual lift smart model with a natural wood surface.
So smart, it tells you how well you’re standing
Standing straight for two hours can be painful, especially when you first start using a standing desk. To avoid discomfort and pain, most of us would lean on one leg and stay in that position without realizing it. To help you correct bad posture, the Gaze Desk Smart Foot Mat will analyze your standing position and gently nudge you to shift your weight and stand balanced.
The perfect desk that grows with your kids
We need to be creative at work, and so do our kids at their desks. Write and draw freely on the Gaze Desk Kids Special, using water-based markers and wipe it clean away. The front tilts to make drawing even more comfortable, and the ultrasonic wave height sensor measures your child's height and optimizes the desk position accordingly.

We’ve already built multiple prototypes and worked out the bugs. We’ve had some great feedback from our testers, and have one of the prototypes being used on the set of a TV drama right now.

GAZE DESK uses an Internet of Things Sensor Cloud that’s powered by MagicEco. This allows it to analyse your behavior to make adjustments and interact (or even control) connected devices and wearables. It also allows for smartphone control of the desk itself.

GAZE LAB’s mission is to create tech gadgets that are beautiful, functional, and actually improve people's lives.
In April 2016, we launched our very first gadget, G-WALK – a Bluetooth enabled two-wheel board with built-in speaker and activity tracker. It was a success in our local market of Korea, but we wanted to connect with more people with our second project, GAZE DESK.
To create the smartest standing desk ever, we’ve partnered with a team of experts in the field of software development and data analysis, Magic Eco. They’ve been gathering user interaction and posture data for many years, which helped us make the ultimate standing desk that encourages the users to keep up with their sit-stand routine and be healthier.

Risks and challenges
Every project has its risks. We at GAZE, have taken great care to ensure that all of the features that you see in our campaign page will be fully functional. However, GAZE DESK is so much more than a standing desk. With its ioT compatibility, we are working hard to ensure that all of its auxiliary components synergize with GAZE DESK smoothly. In addition, given that we have placed an emphasis on quality of craftmanship. As we enter the mass production stage, we will have to work diligently to find a partner who meets our quality standards.
