Katana was inspired during the snowy winters in Provo, UT. Students often adapt credit cards to scrape windshields, because they are always accessible. The Katana is a refinement on this concept: ridiculously strong carbon fiber, stowed away in your wallet, ready whenever you need it. Big plastic scraper buried under a bunch of ski gear? No problem. Forgot to put your scraper in the car before first snow? No worries. Getting a ride from someone and want to help scrape? You're covered. Are you a minimalist, always searching for a way to reduce the volume of stuff you own? Katana can help.
Katana slides right into your wallet.
Why not use a credit card? They break. (Trust us, we know.) Plus, carbon fiber is rad. We bet you'll pull it out at least once just to show off this wonder material.
A final benefit of carbon fiber is that it blocks RFID. So, keep this in your wallet year-round and you have extra protection against data thieves. Quite a bonus!
Risks and challenges
You risk becoming obsessed with blasting through frost and ice. Just kidding, the risks are really minimal. We've spent at least a year testing our scraper and we're really confident we have the right design.
The risks are the same as any campaign: if we get flooded with orders, we may have a slight delay in delivering the rewards. However, we've chosen the delivery date carefully and believe we can meet or exceed expectations.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
