Heard about Kickstarter on my favorite youtube show Matt Chat.
Didn't even know something like Kickstarter even existed. Really cool.
Anyway after thinking about it for a bit I decided to back this project.
In part because I really like action RPGs but also because I hope that GPG are taking this Kickstarter route to gain more independence.
We really need a professional developer studio with the freedom to be innovative.
Good luck. Can't wait to play the finished game :-)

Need to keep the pledges rolling in...

I'll assume that people have been hitting up the community sites that dig Supreme Commander to get the word out too?

At 1:55 the guy sitting at the computer has his phone out. As soon as Chris walks around, he puts it away. Haha, classic.

    4. Eleventy Media on February 2, 2013

That's the first time I've seen a game maker use the word minmax. Chris rocks.

    5. Harry Torque on February 2, 2013

Now that's what I call a marketing campaign - and for once I'm using that word in a positive context. Looking forward to the updates!

automatic server-side persistence is nice, but not really that impressive in 2013. live updating server-side code isn't that impressive either, every web app does that, but actually making it an environment rather than a single app is doing it better than most implementations. very smalltalk-ish code compartmentalization which is cool. the thought occurs that the second monitor this guy has should be another independent viewport onto the same space so he could have the 3D render window always showing which he does other junk on the main monitor. oh ok, he just makes the window take up both monitors. kinda the same thing, but it should be completely independent so you could have it be a different zoom level as well, so you could e.g. use the second monitor for monitoring the entire workspace. and i'd have to think that they'd intend to making this thing able to have multiple users in the same workspace, which would make that even more useful, so you could see what you were working on on your main monitor at a detailed zoom level, but also see in real time what other people were doing in a much more zoomed out view on the secondary monitor

Just looking at Jeremy's screen alone showed a lot of interesting work that goes into the making of Wildman. It proves that Jeremy has great skill in what he was doing, but not much experience in presenting his works in designing. Hopefully later down the line he'll become more passionate and express the work that goes into his achievements. It'll be real interesting what Jeremy has to say when more relaxed. Keep up the great work!

I think you should give a prior warning to people before starting to film them. Seemed like Jeremy had none. People can be very shy when on camera if they´re not used to that kind of thing. :) i´m thinking we may have missed some interesting narration from Jeremy because he just wasn´t ready.

    9. Rullakebab99 on February 2, 2013

      Jeremy´s so shy, hihi ;PPP

Maybe he's a god of fiddle farting around?

I think it's time. Upping the pledge! :)

Entertaining video update as always, good to see that CT has regained his 'bounce'. Also, Chris Robets is a gentleman, this is not the first KS that he has helped out on the PR front.

    13. Nora Bright on February 2, 2013

Haha, nice! I know my brother would drool if he got his hands on the modding tools. Please keep the videos coming! We enjoy them greatly. :)

    14. ThomasN on February 2, 2013

k1DBLITZ: yea, but he also said that he is some kind of god so it evens it out :-)

    15. k1DBLITZ on February 2, 2013

LOL! That's just classic when your boss describes your employee skills as "fiddle farting around". Typically not a good thing. :D

    16. Jesse Christophel on February 2, 2013

Keep the interaction coming! I bumped myself up to the $45 pledge <3

    17. Jesse Christophel on February 2, 2013

You always crack me up Chris :)

      "Make us look good!"
      "that was usefull!"
made me laugh ;) it was a good little insight in the work process, you know what, lets go pester Jeremy again in 10 days to see some progression.. would love to see how your a going to andle those arches and vertical visuals, how would they translate into the game.. ( could be rough of course ;) keep it up guys!

      "Make us look good Jeff!"
In all seriousness though, it would be great if the rest of the team pitched in for the updates. Nothing to be afraid of. Perfect opportunity right there to tell us more about what you do Jeff, what you try to achieve in your work, the things you look out for when making nodes etc.
It looked unprepared but you obviously know your stuff so just tell us as if you were talking to Chris.
