About this project
Imagine a different kind of icon. The Multitude is a series of short films that tell the stories of incredible men and women who lived radical lives for Christ. These films are about real people who served the poor, thirsted for justice, were peacemakers and were persecuted because of their love.
Our hope is that these films will get people excited about the saints and excited about their stories. There is massive potential here: there are thousands of unbelievable, incredible stories that could be translated into truly moving films. Some of the stories we’ll be telling are those of St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Edith Stein, Bl. Bartolome Blanco Marquez, Fr. Stanley Rother, and Bl. Kateri Tekewitha. Please help us bring these and many other awesome stories to life!
We’ve been working on The Multitude for over a year, and so far we have filmed four out of the fifteen episodes. We are well on our way, but we need funding to make these films live up to the lives of the people they portray. We don’t want to put out anything we aren’t proud of. We want these films to be the best work we’ve ever done.
After this I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and tongue. They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation comes from our God, who is seated on the throne, and from the Lamb." - Revelation 7:9-10
