Funding Progress: Smells like Offset
10pm tomorrow. That's when it ends. This campaign has already exceeded my expectations, and now it's starting to look like it may exceed my hopes. I thought it unlikely that we'd hit the $25,000 stretch goal for an offset print run. Now the "following but not pledged" plus "actual backers" total is well over $36,000 - and the more realistic "hey, we get 35-45% of the followers converted, plus those who backed but never followed" is looking like a range from a LOW of $23,750 to a high of $26,000.
It all will depend on fresh backers coming in that don't follow the project, and how many of our followers convert to pledges - especially print pledges - by tomorrow night.
New Stretch Goal: Hall of Judgment 2nd Edition: $35,000
I'm actually starting to run out of Hall of Judgment and my That Other Game book Dungeon Grappling. If we hit this goal, I'll reprint Hall of Judgment in the same offset print quality - sewn lay-flat binding, heavy paper, and all the new maps by Glynn Seal. While the retail price of the new edition will jump to $30, for this Kickstarter, the print price will remain $25 for you guys. If we hit it, it'll take 3 months to print, but the new editions will be printed and shipped at the same time as Citadel.
I'll end out some details on that separately.
