Reminder: International Shipping not so bad
For those "not the USA" folks, which of course includes Really Northern Minnesota, or, er, Canada. (Yah, sure, you betcha, eh!).
The way the project is headed, I'll be printing maybe 300-500 total books. That's excellent for a small, third-party release. Of course, I'd love to print 1,000 of them in an offset run, but unless that happens, I'll be printing the not-the-US books in the UK.
THAT means that shipping uses Royal Mail. And as an estimate, Hall of Judgment, same size, nice paper, was $6 to the UK, $9 to the EU, and $12 to everywhere else. Including New Zealand and Australia.
So if you usually don't back print levels because of shipping . . . my use of two print runs gets around that a bit.
