A previous campaign saw 60 Digital maps created in this style in a huge range of genres- not just Forest, Snow, Jungle and Desert but Wild West, Gemstone Cavern, Treetops and more - all of these free with any $25 or more pledge.
This campaign features all-new terrain extensions with roads and rivers in the four classic themes Jungle, Desert, Snow and Forest. There are 12 maps for each terrain making a total of 48. (With 32 more if you pledge for the Extra Super Set.)
- Digital Maps are supplied as High-Resolution PNG or PDF files and Low-Resolution JPG files. You'll get your maps with NO GRID and a 1" SQUARE GRID.

- The Constructor Pledge contains all of the PNG Vectors/Assets such as trees, buildings, shrubs, textures used to create Meanders and you can also Learn GIMP easily with my 101 Terrain Gimp Guide with step-by-step instructions on making your own maps.
- A range of extra grids supplied include hex and cross-hair (white and black). [Edit: And of course Barbarian Sectioning for my Conan-RPG using backers]
- All the Digital Maps are VTT-Ready for use with programs such as Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds.

If you're not familiar with Meanders: Synchable Terrain - In a nutshell, Meanders uses dynamic 2.5d scenery with a repeating entry/exit point system (marked with red X's in the promotional images) that allows all Meanders to be joined to one another to create endless sprawling paths for adventurers to wander upon. The layout is deliberately assymetrical to enhance the impression of randomness but you can orbit any Meanders around another and you'll find their paths match up so you can quickly create huge regions of adventuring space in a diverse variety of themes without having to arrange dozens of smaller tiles. Every Meanders measures 27x18".
You can use the free Meanders 1 maps that come with these new maps to build even larger map layouts with all new features but particularly the all-important road and river routes. There are 60 Meanders 1 maps - all of which will be added to and extended through smaller campaigns such as this one focusing on a particular genre. This means next time I will offer new maps to extend other themes so you can always have new exciting options for your maps.
This campaign will offer 12 all-new Forest maps, 12 all-new Snow/Ice Maps, 12 all-new Jungle maps and 12 all-new Desert Maps that are all backwards compatible. See art samples below.
If you are interested in making your Own maps - you can pledge for the Constructor Set which comes with sets of blank templates, a huge range of assorted vectors such as trees, plants, rocks and things that I use to create my maps + a massive 72 page fully illustrated Guide to using GIMP that will have you using it in hours even if you're a total beginner. Details on usage for the Commercial License are contained the FAQ.
This is just a small sample of what you get - with dozens and dozens more Meanders 2 vectors and templates and a revised guide with new techniques and instructions on both sourcing new textures and adding more detail to your maps using other GIMP functions.
If you're already familiar with Meanders: a warm welcome back - this new terrain can be attached to your existing Meanders 1 maps to give you a huge set of interchangeable roads with straights, t-junctions, corners and crossroads so you can sculpt the landscape for your adventures with the narrower paths of Meanders 1 and now much wider roads and a river for ambushes, travel, encounters and much more. Extra extensions include some vital new types of Meander designed to help enlarge your Meander possibilities and extend the seamless layout.
Also - if you pledged in either Meanders 1 or my previous Meanders 2 campaign - you are in my VIP Club - which entitles you to an assortment of Kickstarter Exclusive goodies including a set of World Serpent Infinite Hub Meanders, Rough Weather Meanders and a Mega-Meanders map. You can opt for one of two special loyalty pledges - but regardless of which pledge you choose you will receive these extra rewards as my way of saying thank you for returning to support me.
An Edger is a non-road/river based extension that simply acts as a map that leads into the main terrain, it might be fields, or a forest edge, or a bridge or high walled canyon - its essentially a nice starting or ending place for your adventurers to begin or end their Meander - edgers are designed to be placed to the left or right of another Meander. Edgers are special in that they do not conform to the Synchable Terrain pattern and can break the rules of design - thus they can offer features such as two cascading waterfalls opposite each other that provide a beautiful backdrop but don't need to match up to other Meanders. They are similar to a staircase tile or entry point to a dungeon/terrain.
A Blender is a non-road/river based extension and a stylish way to now change between two terrains that don't match such as Jungle and Snow by gradually changing from one terrain into another - so instead of just having a snow board next to a jungle board and the two terrains clashing - there is a gradual change of terrain from snow into jungle to make it both more believable and less jarring to look at.
A Bridger is a non-road/river based extension that has a basic terrain feature on it such as a lake, or some nice scenery to break up the journey with interesting things to look at or interact with - these can be placed at any combination of top/bottom or left-right of another Meander. If you only have paths for your adventurers to wander around on - they might get bored, so Bridgers help to break up the landscape a bit, give you good places to put an encounter or plot twist. See Art Samples below.
Thank you all very much for getting me to this point and to my new backers as well. I appreciate all of the support, generosity and encouragement that allows me to keep designing for you and doing what I enjoy.

Risks and challenges
My previous Meanders 2 Launch while offered with the best intentions - had a dizzying array of options which served only to confuse backers. Now I am breaking it into several much smaller quick-fire campaigns that will focus on a compact genre with a shorter time-frame of 14 days. I believe by doing this it will greatly lower the risk of not funding, and still allow me to continue working on those other maps to present them in future campaigns.
With your support I hope to make this my Sixth successful Kickstarter campaign - I've delivered to promise on five previous campaigns and will continue my track record. I am dedicated to my art and my backers and strive to deliver comprehensive communication, professional standards, timely delivery and an excellent end-product. Even now I continue to study GIMP, lighting, filters and learn new techniques to enhance my craft.
To mitigate computer failure, I have invested in 1TB of Googledrive space where back-ups will be stored (though I may need more) - and in case of Googledrive failure, likewise on my hard-drive. With regular back-ups made back and forth this should safe-guard any mishap with the vast number of designs being lost mid-process.
There are few issues with digital transfer and I have already completed a large amount of the art. Other than an Act of God - nothing will stop me from forging ahead and completing this project. Please feel free to ask any questions, I am always here to offer rapid response.
