At Gametee, our mission is clear. We aim to provide the gaming community with the finest, high quality video-gaming merchandise and apparel. At Gametee, we are inspired by every game we have played and loved. Our designs have been informed by the best loved games of the past and present. We are committed to gaming, and to excellence, and we are the world's first luxury brand for gamers.
Gametee is a project by two sisters, A.J. and Lucy-Anna Hateley. We have created eight exceptional, community influenced, inspired-by gaming T-shirt designs that we want to make a reality.
As life long gamers and professional designers, we have worked closely with the gaming community to bring you luxurious, fashionable apparel. Gametee t-shirts are specially designed for gamers that want something more from their gaming clothing. Some designs are vintage in feel, some bold....all are incredible......
In this Kickstarter campaign, with your support, we can fund and produce the first production runs for each of these inspired designs.
We believe that videogames are a meaningful art form and our designs reflect this fundamental, founding principle.
Check them out below!!!
Our tshirts are superior and pure luxury in every way. They are lightweight, ultra soft and ultra comfortable. Our prints sit within the fabric and move with the wearer, giving the ultimate soft feel. They will never degrade, crack or peel. Our oversized print area makes us unique in the industry.
T-shirts will be available in all sizes from S-2XL in Mens/Unisex and also Ladies tailored fit from S-2XL, using 100% cotton or a poly/cotton blend for your ultimate comfort and an incredible fit.

"Video-games have been my life long passion. I am extremely humbled by the consistent support that the gaming community has shown me. I'm so grateful to the developers, journalists, and individuals that have enabled me to fulfill my dreams. They are the people I work for. I have put my heart and soul into creating a portfolio of designs for Gametee and it is with great pleasure that I will be showcasing the very best of my art work here on Kickstarter."
Our tees are quality. Lightweight and tailored; our t-shirts will be manufactured to the highest standards. All our t-shirts will be produced in an ethically sound, sweat-shop free environment.
Dress them up, or down, they are completely versatile and totally wearable.......
Ceramics at Gametee are dishwasher safe, and as with our tees, designs are permanent and manufactured to the highest standard. Each of our coffee mugs comes packaged in its own individually hand-stamped gift box.
Our print range features some of the most popular pieces of A.J. Hateley's portfolio. These special editions of the prints ship rolled, signed and numbered. They are giclee printed on high-quality archival high gsm card stock with a matte finish.
If we, with your support, are able to attain our £5000 funding goal, our next step is to produce hoodies of the same exceptional quality as our t shirts.
Alternate t-shirt colours for each design will also be unlocked!!
Throughout the campaign we will be unlocking extra bonuses and surprises for our backers on a regular basis, this is just the beginning!!! Backers watch this space!!!
As a special incentive, we have developed two secret designs which will unlock if the funding goal is surpassed, they are incredible and we so hope to reveal them and make them available in this campaign!!!
Our videogaming journey began in the early eighties, when Lucy would pedal her pushbike to the local arcade to play Streets of Rage and Golden Axe. "My first console was a ZX Spectrum, and every week I'd buy a new cassette with my pocket money. A.J. was born in '87, the same year that the first ever Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy was released. We loved playing together, but the game that really changed our perspectives on the craft was probably Abe's Oddysee."
A.J. began her first steps toward professional illustration drawing the characters from the games of her childhood. "I would pause the screen and draw everything on it. My favourite subjects were the characters and monsters of Final Fantasy. It gave me a respect and admiration for the artists that I carry with me to this day."
Lucy's favourite developer is Valve. "I've spent a huge amount of time on the Left 4 Dead series. Online competitive gaming is a big part of my life. But recently, I'm devoted to Bethesda and Skyrim; I'm trying to get my character to level 81."
A.J. is very supportive of independents. "I've been playing The Binding of Isaac non-stop. Danny Baranowsky's music is remarkable. My favourite game of all time must be Minecraft, though, I love the infinite capacity it has for creativity. The modding community around the game is exceptional."
"We're both anticipating Tomb Raider, Republique, and GTA V."
A.J. Hateley is a professionally qualified illustrator, and graduated from the University of Derby in 2012 with a Masters degree with distinction in Visual Communication - Illustration. She was a finalist in the British Northern Design competition and winner of the Penguin Design Competition. Her client list includes Penguin, Barnes and Noble, Camouflaj and Authorhouse. A.J. is the artist responsible for the ongoing series 30 Days of Videogames and the Gaming Luggage Label Collection.
Lucy-Anna Hateley is one of Britain's most sought after interior designers and an independent buisnesswoman previously responsible for the overseeing of large scale commercial projects. Lucy studied at the KLC School of Design in Chelsea, London and has over ten years experience working as a lead designer for Britain's premier interior design company. For five years she was financial director and lead designer at a promotional merchandise and marketing company.
Both sisters are committed, life long gamers.

Yes! These designs are unofficial and not endorsed by the developers of the games they reference in any way. They are a way for fans to express and proudly display their love of a game in a subtle way. The designs are fair-use commentary on the original games.
We believe that our designs are covered by fair use, parodic commentary, and transformative copyright laws.
