It seems like everyone has a favorite part of The Princess Bride. This classic movie has become much loved by millions of people around the world, and Game Salute is now offering the opportunity to experience this fantastic story in a whole new way. Last year we created the incredibly popular Prepare To Die party game and now we're looking to create three all new games based on other sections of the movie! You'll be able to pick up one, two or even all three, but whatever you decide - we know you're going to love the games as much as The Princess Bride itself!
Before we start though...
Designed by Matthew O'Malley, A Battle of Wits is an exciting game of bluff and double bluff for between two and ten (yes, ten) players! A row of goblets sit in the middle of the table, ready to be filled with either wine or poison. Players each take the role of one character but it is only at the very end of a game that they will drink, one from each goblet. During the game, they must play their cards, one each turn, either into the top of a goblet (adding poison or wine to a goblet) or to the bottom of a goblet (bidding on the goblet). Who will fall prey to their enemies and and who will eliminate themselves? Only the most intelligent will survive!
Designed by Daniel Solis, As You Wish is for two to six players, and is a game where decisions will need to be made if you're to tell the story of your true love. Each player drafts their cards in a bid to collect sets of icons, all dependent on the desires and needs of the character drawn at the start of a round. The more icons on your group of cards, the more points you'll pull in at the end of play, but beware - some of them are poisoned and can cause you to lose them! As You Wish is a surprisingly tricky game that will keep you on your toes for the duration of play!
Designed by Philip duBarry, two to six players attempt to capture a little magic in the form of a not-so-little pill that will hopefully bring the Man In Black back to life! You'll need to create the perfect mix of ingredients by choosing cards from your hand to create groups of different types. Each round involves drafting cards and revealing them all at the same time, building up your ingredients that will eventually combine together, but remember to follow any immediate instructions that are revealed! In the third and final round you'll add scoring cards to your tableau, making those collections of yours finally pay off! Just remember to cover the finished article in chocolate; we hear that helps when swallowing the pill...
Whether you want to pick up just one or get yourself a set of all three, we're happy to help you out! Just click on the selection that you'd like to pledge for on the right hand side of the page and Kickstarter will guide you through the process. If you'd like multiple copies of the titles, just multiply the cost by the amount of games you want - we'll ask later on in the campaign precisely what we should be sending out to you!

Risks and challenges
Game Salute has done over 165 successful Kickstarter campaigns including our own published titles and those we've helped independent publishers run and fulfill. The games are in pre-press with the printer and this campaign will help us determine how many to make as well as ensure you're the first one to get these awesome games!
While shipping and processing delays are always a possibility, we have set a conservative delivery date that allows time to handle difficulties when they arise. Of course, should games arrive before the estimated delivery date, we will send them out as soon as we receive them.
We're so certain that you'll enjoy these Princess Bride titles that we're backing it up with our Game Salute Guarantee. Also, we have the licence and rights to produce these games - they're 100% official Princess Bride products!
Now, sometimes life happens and a few people will want to cancel their pledge after the campaign has ended, and that’s fine too. We can handle this for you – all we need is for you to email Service@GameSalute.com with your username, real name, and the Amazon Payments Transaction ID that’s in the email you’ll receive after your money is collected when the campaign closes. Please note: when we receive your funds, we only receive around 85% of what you paid thanks to various fees and charges, so whatever your pledge was you’ll get it back less 15% to cover those charges. Remember that you’re also able to cancel your pledge at any time during the campaign, so if you're not sure that you really want this or can't afford it at present, then this campaign may not be for you. It would be best to get a copy later through your favorite game store!
