Pixel Lincoln: Re-Election
The year is 2013. It's been 150 years since RoBooth was defeated at the great Battle of Gettysburger, and things are finally back to normal. Pixel Lincoln is running for president once again, but has a new thorn in his side…. multiple versions of his 16-bit self. It's weird, confusing and retro! Which Lincoln will become president? Which Lincoln is the real deal? Who has the better Beardarang?

Oh, and Lincoln's hat is missing again and the world is doomed again with all of that time travel stuff….

Pixel Lincoln: Re-Election is a 4-part expansion to Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game, consisting of new abilities, card types and game modes, but with a whole bunch of what we already know and love: Items, Enemies, Bosses, Mini-Bosses, Characters, Secret Items, and more!
This expansion was designed for the people.

You asked for more unique abilities, and there is not a repeated ability in this set! You asked for more variety in characters and we added two drastically different types! You asked for harder bosses (well some of you, the others asked for easier ones… but anyway…) we made some really hard bosses. We designed a ton of cards, but we'll need your help to bring it to the table.

All new Environment Cards that change the way that levels work. See how Wind effects Pixel Lincoln, pushing him back further and further. Spikes are deadly and prevent players from jumping. Warp Zones allow players to swap levels. You will want to play with these!

Have a lonely 5th wheel friend that's always sitting out? Now they can play using the Player 5 starter set and a cool purple Lincoln Meeple. Also comes with 5 of our very favorite custom character cards.

Pixel Lincoln is up for re-election and along with that comes a new style of character. These will provide you votes, which can lead to big points. Snag the swing vote card for to break ties. Also comes with Secret Item - Vote card, and a brand new Item Card designed by the people. We'll be building this card during the course of the campaign with your help.

We saved the toughest cards for last. These are the ones that will make you sweat. There are 2 new game mode cards that allow the players to choose how difficult they want to play (Bosses ALWAYS ambush?!), plus 4 special Meat Power cards that take the bosses to the next level of difficulty. This set also includes 6 new Checkpoint Cards that reward players with an all new Save File.

Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game is a side-scrolling adventure card game. It plays very much like the retro video games of your childhood, but instead of on your TV, it's on your table.
Each player plays as Pixel Lincoln, taking turns exploring two different levels. The Players will fight awful enemies and collect awesome weapons using their starting arsenal of Beardarangs and Jumps. Eventually the players will hit checkpoints, enabling some really cool things like bonuses… and BOSS BATTLES. Bosses are big and nasty and worth a ton of points. In the end, high score wins!
The game plays 1-4 players (1-5 with the expansion!) in about 45 minutes. Players take their turns individually (ala sitting around an NES taking turns) but also have the ability to impact the world of their fellow gamers. Since all players use the same levels the items are first come, first serve.
In Pixel Lincoln, you'll need to defeat the toughest enemies, but the greatest / meatiest weapons you can find, and talk to all of the characters, if you want to get that high score.

Risks and challenges
As we enter the crowdfunding phase, Pixel Lincoln: Re-Election is nearly "Print Ready". Certain stretch goals will require additional art if we fund at those levels, so we have set an extended delivery date to be on the safe side. Every game project is subject to potential production delays, but we believe we've allowed enough wiggle-room for Pixel Lincoln: Re-Election.
The final challenge is getting the game and rewards out to the backers. Game Salute is well versed in Kickstarter reward fulfillment and we are prepared to meet this challenge for Pixel Lincoln: Re-Election.
