Origami Card Holders (Canceled)
Free up your hands to push cubes around the board! These colorful genre-themed folding card holders are great for any game with cards.
Whether you need to free up your hands to push cubes around the game board, take a sip of hot cocoa, or do a face-palm when you realize the mistake you just made, Origami Card Holders will do the job while your hands are otherwise occupied.
Origami Card Holders come four-to-a-pack and feature art inspired by popular gaming genres. The images below are from prototype samples we made and give a good idea of what the assembled card holders will look like, but the production sets will be far superior. They will be printed on heavy, high-quality paper and are pre-scored and partially folded to make them easy to assemble. Click each image below to download a hi-def wide-screen computer wallpaper version of the original artwork by Dann May and Miguel Coimbra.
If our Origami Card Holders make it to market, they'll retail for $7.50 per pack. Because they're easy to assemble and disassemble, you'll want to get several sets and keep a set in each of your game boxes.
One image from each set is already completed and, with your support, we will be able to complete the other eighteen pieces of artwork and send this project off to the printers.
As the funding grows, we'll be able to afford to hire more artists to make more fun and exciting card holder theme sets. As each new stretch goal set is unlocked, you'll be able to add the set to your rewards for only $5 added to your pledge.
Hi! My name is Ta-Te Wu. I was born in Taiwan and grew up in LA. After spending 8 years in the computer industry and 3 years in education, I began a new and exciting quest in board game design. Risks and challenges
Publishing board and card game accessories is a new venture for us but we have lots of experience in gaming and lots of help from the great folks at Game Salute.
We have artists lined up to finish all six initial sets and contacts with many more artists to work on the expansion sets if we're lucky enough to fund beyond out primary goal.
We have allowed a lot of time for the artists to do their work and for the relatively straight-forward printing process.
Game Salute is in the process of building a world wide network of distribution partners that will allow us to offer free shipping in the USA, Canada, Mexico, EU, UK, and Australia.
Every project is at risk for unexpected occurrences, but we believe we have prepared well for most situations.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
